Anyone have any information on websites to track emerging economies? I see India as being the next China. Emerging economy, pro work and education and huge drive to improve their individual circumstances. Questionable government.

Ask the Mothly Fool if they are happy for you to post their propitiatory information on a public forum and let us know how it goes.

Ya easy to knock things back but I dont like the look of the product which ruins it for me. Maybe it's well suited to a different market.

thanks Rigolo... i only discovered this thread recently..allot of company's mentioned here i never heard of ...will keep an eye on them to play with.. we might get another chance (not as good as the fear back on march 17th) to buy good stock cheap to sit on for long .. term...next big one could be with Iran or Trump loosing election..

The number of individual participants on the platform is growing even faster, as Livongo's diabetes members have roughly doubled over the past year to 328,000.

Well, members on the diabetes platform receive glucose meters and test strips that they are all too familiar with for checking their blood sugar levels on a regular basis. However, these meters are connected digitally to Livongo's platform, so they receive personalized insights, 24/7 coaching support, shareable reports, and custom alerts. In the non-Livongo world, diabetes patients are largely on their own between doctor visits; it could be months, if not longer, before a medical pro checks in. With Livongo's data scientists on the case, users are given actionable insights when their glucose levels are on the rise.

The machine learning platform works. An average member's HbA1c reduction falls from a self-reported 7.8% at the time of registration — above the American Diabetes Association's target range — to 7.1% within the first three months, down to 6.9% within a year. The reductions result in a material reduction in heart attacks, peripheral vascular diseases, and death. In short, members have a better shot at a healthier life.

What do the clients get out of Livongo? Doing right by their insured participants through healthier outcomes would seem to be a sufficient reward, but there are financial benefits here, too. Diabetes has some of the highest healthcare spending among chronic ailments, and Livongo clients see an average of $1,908 in annual gross medical savings per diabetes participant.

The third and final winner is Livongo itself, along with its shareholders. There's been a whole lot of growth here in a short amount of time, and things are just getting started."

"Top-line growth has been stunning. Revenue has more than doubled in each of the past two years, and Livongo isn't stopping to catch its breath. Revenue soared 115% in the first quarter of 2020. The $68.8 million it recorded in revenue for its latest quarter was more than it rang up for all of 2018.

Livongo isn't profitable, but we don't see that as a deal breaker at this stage in the digital consumer health pioneer's growth cycle. Livongo isn't having any problem signing up new clients and members, and now it's making a bigger push into other chronic conditions.

“ Livongo Health stock isn't cheap. It trades at nearly 30 times trailing revenue, and naturally there is no earnings multiple as it rattles off deficits. Some analysts see Livongo turning profitable by next year, but a lot can happen along the way.

Diabetes was a logical place for Livongo to start, and the health benefits to members and cost savings to clients are solid. It remains to be seen if some of the new chronic conditions can be as lucrative as its flagship business.
Livongo has a better mousetrap, but someone else can always dream up a better one. We're not just talking about a superior health-monitoring platform but the possibility that breakthrough treatments for diabetes, weight loss, hypertension, and depression may give Livongo's data scientists less life-changing work to achieve.”

There's been people on this thread saying that since March. I'm buying stories and business plans rather than companies on earnings reports. That's always been the way with the growth stocks hasn't it? You're buying for what it could do in the future. Some will be way off and you'll lose money, one or two will be right and skyrocket for you.
