Robinhood is the name of a trading platform company.
It is the preferrred trading platform of millenials.
It has a phone friendly app .

Google the term Robinhood Millenials .. you will find 300,000 plus hits.
Everyone in the trading houses uses that term quite often when speaking of 'the new investor generation'
some peopel are offended by it.. I got out of bed this morning some peopel were offended by that.. its the way of the world.

Dont use Robinhood, its crap, has crashed 3 times in the last 3 months on the heaviest trading days, cost the millenials millions in losses. but heh they arent renowned for making the best choices in life ..

    roll on power hour ..

Why are you so jaded by millennials lol

    Anyone see $SDRL?
Took a chance on a few hundred of these last week @ 0.41

I’ve been riding a bigger bag down a while now but been watching their pa and they were very up & down

Cashed out the ones I bought last week at 78c today so they have paid me back a bit towards my losses

    $RGR & $SWBI both up
There’s a 6 month wait for the KELTEC KS7 in the US right now and current price over the counter if you can get one is 30% above RRP

Grandpa hit it hard with his walking stick. sub 4 (EDIT: sub 3 typo) was a gift, sub 5 is still a steal
I dont see it sub 4 again, too close to all the paper work and restructuring post Chapter 11 being processed.

Thats rich coming from you, you've poisoned the politics and current affairs forums with your right wing propaganda and endless copying and pasting of the days pro-Trump talking points from whatever American sewer you crawled out of now you've set up shop in one of the best threads on boards.ie and are already wrecking it with repetitive nonsense.

These have been great and profitable threads over the last 6-12 months, I would strongly suggest people start reporting this lads posts before he sh1ts all over it like everything else he touches, a deeply unpleasant character and not wanted or needed in this forum.

Mannn my mate told me to invest in Vtiq a couple of weeks ago back when it was around 26. Should had listened to him...... He's making 500€ profit now. I reckon it can go to the 100s within the next few weeks, so might take a punt and buy around 3/4 tomorrow.

I was reading something earlier and apparently Levis sales are in bigger sizes than usual. The stock is up 27% in the last month.

Crazy action on NKLA...took some profits today at 60...over 90 in AH...still holding a few shares and warrants. I was hoping it would be Tilray/Beyond meat after the merger and so far so good.

I heard about VTIQ and NKLA a few months back and declined to invest because some maintained the tech was flaky, paying the price now...

Are lads just jumping in and out of shares and hoping to make a quick buck? If so, is that not just gambling? Is anyone actually looking at the company financials?

Nothing wrong with an investing strategy. Stick to it and take your gains. No fomo.

If you looked at the financials you wouldnt buy any of them!

I am not jumping in and out of stocks at a day trading rate but a lot of people here are and it's extremely profitable in the current market climate. Anything with hype is seeing huge gains and paying off. Gambling? I suppose, but any long term stock purchase is a gamble on the company and macro economy too.

Then maybe we shouldn't. Maybe the stock markets are seriously overvalued across the board.

They are and I'm waiting for it to implode.

About 60% of what I have set aside for short to medium investing/speculating/gambling is in cash as a result. I'm still picking here and there but the last week you could pick your nose and it would jump 50%.

Viewing from the sidelines all the madness over the past couple of months.

Chesapeake Energy was $7.77 at its lowest point and has now rocketed to $52. Plenty of folk getting rich on the antics played out since February

You'd have to wonder when you see a company like Procter & Gamble (PG) trading at a PE Ratio of 64. Costco (Cost) at 36 times earnings. Neither have revenues increasing that much.

I bought 7.37 of them at $58.64 yesterday as I had some cash sitting in my Trading212 account that was burning a hole in my pocket as play money.
Bonkers stuff but watched BYND and SPCE do crazy stuff before from the sidelines so I am going to play the game until $100 a share or bust this time :D

There's been people on this thread saying that since March. I'm buying stories and business plans rather than companies on earnings reports. That's always been the way with the growth stocks hasn't it? You're buying for what it could do in the future. Some will be way off and you'll lose money, one or two will be right and skyrocket for you.
