The second tab for wealth actually clarifies something for me - the difference between having a crypto balance, and havin a vault which is crypto.

I like the simple transaction history but with multiple balances in different currencies it is not that easy anymore. If one only has one currency it is however cleaner. The comment about this being sales oriented is true. The fee based products make up a whole new tab. I think it will take a while to get used to but they clearly took some of the types that don't make them money (like transfers to bank accounts) and made it a little harder.

The new in-app design is a lot more "salesy" with panels for share dealing , plan upgrades etc much more prominent. Basic functionality of moving between wallets, checking out transactions etc is not as intuitive or easy to navigate as before. I'm undecided on the new layout - perhaps it will grow on me.

Yggr of Asgard wrote: » You can not do a direct US to Ireland transfer, it needs to go into your Revolut account first. You would transfer $ from your US Bank account via SWIFT/Wire transfer to your revolut account (IBAN is multi currency). Once on the account you than transfer the money in € to your Irish account and the exchange rate is Revolut own exchange rate not the mid market. It's the live rate at the moment of exchange. No fees by Revolut for transfer or exchange. If you already use transferwise you might have it easier with them as you safe the cost and hassle of a wire transfer from your US account. Also if you use the account that way you will very quickly trigger account review and provide proof of funds. As to emulator you still need a phone to receive the initial text message to confirm your number bluestack works.
Donald Trump wrote: » Can this be used to transfer money from foreign bank accounts to Irish ones? I currently use transferwise for transferring money. I see that their free plan limits to 5000 GBP a month and the paid ones unlimited. If i signed up for this then I could, for example, transfer 5k GBP equivalent from a US bank account to an Irish Bank account, per month, and at mid-market rates and no additional fees? If I wanted to transfer more, it would just be a fixed charge on top of that regardless of amount? Is that correct? Does anyone use it from their desktop with an emulator or would you need it installed on your phone?
