Sunday Independent reports here: (paywall) - HEALTH Minister Simon Harris has signalled schools could be reopened one day a week before the end of term this summer. - Other plans include allowing people to exercise further than 2km from their homes and letting the over-70s, who are currently ‘cocooning’ at home, go for a walk. - Pubs are unlikely to reopen to maximum capacity, “packed” with people, until there is an effective vaccine or treatment for the disease

People need to get back to work, to do that schools and creches need to reopen. 3 more weeks ok but if things keep going well then reopen. That muppet Tubridy last night asking will they open in September. Easy for him on his 400 grand a year. I think the timelines are all provisional also. We didn't expect our lives to be in lockdown a month or so ago, they're probably wrong to even make a guess right now on it.
