One thing my Father always says and it rings very through “If a vintage car looks good in photos it’s probably rough, If it looks rough in photos you can be assured it’s rubbish” The Irish seem to be talented at saying things are mint and making them look mint.

Even 7500 would be ludicrous IMO. Heres a V8, with low enough miles, not too many owners and identical spec (+ airmatic and ventilated seats, which the 07 is missing) for less than 4k. I'm not saying its a like-for-like comparison, the wrap needs to go and it needs a nice set of wheels, but you get the picture.https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/cls-500/23602900 The only thing the 07 car has on top of a base spec car is heated seats, a sunroof and the AMG pack (which, to be fair, makes a massive difference to the look of the car. Its class) The only people buying these cars now are enthusiasts, and who knows - maybe there is someone out there looking for a very very good example, but you could buy that V8 above and make it just as nice as the one linked and have a lot of change left over from 10, or even 7500. Worth nothing that there is a decent looking CLS55 on Donedeal that could be had for around the same money
