For the first time in years, today I saw a small herd of cattle with their horns fully grown. It made me happy, even though I don't know what will happen to them, but at least the pain of having their horns burnt when they were calves was spared to them. I'm not sure if I'm making any sense...

After the disastrous summers of '15 and '16 I had bloods done in May '17 and my D levels didn't even register. I took a D supplement for a year and of course last year's summer was incredible, so I have fewer worries now.

Did some aul blood tests, all the vitamins, cholesterol etc are perfect. I always go to check my iron especially due to me absorbing more than other people, but that's grand too.
Always good to check before bothering to supplement anything. I supplement Vit D and even at that it was still close to being low, said she always sees people with it far too low, a third of mine.

Some time ago there were vegan croissants in Applegreen near me. They looked a little, ermm, 'grey' unfortunately - but were delicious, really really good! I only saw them the one time.

Serving it with egg based mayo thought unless you ask for it without.

Which I find quite annoying. Would it really be that hard for them to serve it with a vegan mayo. Nobody wants a dry burger!

They're quite reasonably priced too $5.50$/6 or $7.50 for a meal.

but in the booklet put through my door, there wasn't one veggie option on offer with a coupon.

The veggie burger is quite nice, quite falafel-y I think. The spicy veg wrap is ok too.

McDonalds do have 2 veggie options, they are dairy free and vegan except that the wrap passes through the same toaster as their buns which contain milk.

However, McDonald's said: "The tortilla wraps pass through the same toaster as our buns, which do contain milk."

My eight year old tried the veggie happy meal, he did not like it, I tried it and really did not like it either. Pity they don’t offer plant “milk” as I found their coffee ok.
