Nobody wants to spend the kind of money needed to compete for wins and there can't be many who think an investment of hundreds of millions of dollars is worth it to go fighting for 4th in the championship. I hope bringing in Patrick Head brings some improvement for Williams. They need it, and F1 needs them.

Hopefully, it was just a blip because his F1 career could be in danger, no top team will want him. He could end up at Alfa with Kimi.... Norris has also had a great start to the season, have McLaren discovered another Hamilton-esque gem? Only 2 races into the season but good signs, his teammate is not exactly bad either so a good barometer to test against.

jv2000 wrote: » I agree it wasn't a blip but with it being a new season etc I was trying (very hard) to be optimistic. It was just like last season and hopefully Leclerc is consistent enough to pick-up the pieces (unlike Kimi). Leclerc also did a great team job yesterday when being interviewed afterwards, it was clear he was disappointed but he did not lay into the team or the car. I couldn't help but wonder if that was Vettel in a similar situation, what he would have said in the post-race interviews.

Having sampled what Sky Sports offer via Sky One for 2 races I haven't had a "oh my God, why haven't I signed up for this before, can't believe I wasted so much time with Eir Sports and Channel 4" revelation. No indication yet as to whether China is showing on Sky One. Usually someone knows by now but with it being a 7am start I think I'll just lie in and wait for Channel 4 highlights. Certainly won't be buying any Now TV passes for it. What I've seen on Sky One doesn't seem worth the €10 to €15 a race weekend to sign up to.
