The Gardaí wouldn't have even been there without the clampers already on the scene. And the clampers don't seem to be of any assistance, and were told to step away.

The clamper had him on the deck with one shove, look at the cops struggling. I notice he got very quiet when he was first put on the ground by the clamper that's because there was chance the clampers would kick his **** in.

If he could have made his way to his feet with the clamper on him then he would have.

I'd love to be a Gardai but prob too old now, sit in your station all day while it's a warzone outside, go out once or twice a week and put up a checkpoint, once you get your quota pick up a curry or pizza on the way back to the station, happy days

The foreign nationals don't seem to want anything to do with the Gardai either, I would be expecting by this stage for the force to be made up of at least 10% non nationals. I've seen one Chinese fella that's it.
