Fact is a lot of ethnic minorities are cosanguinous because they are not encouraged to mix outside their ethnicity/ locale.

Have you been ranting and railing about travellers? If you have and you genuinely see yourself as a protector of women, you could take a good look at this thread and ask why denigrating a section of the population for how they speak, dress, live and talk, is ever right. A lot of people see racism as what happens far away from them, and can't admit to it right under their noses. I don't agree with many aspects of traveller culture, especially the treatment of women and children, but I can't accept this blanket bashing of every traveller in the country. It us dangerous to allow what is hate speech, go unchallenged.
But to be honest , boards.ie allows this, on Afterhours, and I wonder if some of the more extreme and regular posters on this sort of thread are in fact paid boardsies trying to rack up text counts.

Who's ranting? Pointing out the behaviour of the traveller community is not Racist that is also not an opinion.

Given that they were supposed to be looking after children, getting hammered and stoned isn't a good idea.

Another day out in the Courts, will the penny drop soon that these claims are going to be fought each and every time.

If costs are awarded the money should be deducted from welfare payments until the costs are covered.

Maoris existed in New Zealand for hundreds of years before the British went over. There is no comparison between Maoris and Travellers. Travellers don't know where they came from. No it's not. As I told you before, Grenfell happened because of faulty wiring and flammable cladding. It was not because adults in charge of children got drunk and forgot to turn off the chip pan.

It boggles my mind that people can be this obtuse. I don't know if you are deliberately trolling this thread or just looking for the rise but you are one of the worst "defenders" of travellers on this thread. I'll leave it at that, as I don't want to get banned.

I remember back in the eighties, they'd call around the doors asking for old clothes and a tin of beans. We'd usually oblige too, throw in 50p or a pound if we could. "I'll say a prayer for you, ma'am", and they'd be on their way. If you needed a car part you'd go over to the tinkers in Finglas, near where Dunsink dump used up be. There was never the crime, welfare, feuds that is all they are known for now.
