Any thoughts on Ryanair

Any thoughts as to why Ryanair is not performing. Shares at 13.10 today from a high of 15.40. I know they were a bit overvalued but this is getting crazy.They posted decent results so I bought at 13.50 and again at 13.30 last week strongly expecting a rebound. Is it just general market drag?

Spotted Ryanair dipping again this morning, it is very tempting to have a little nibble :pac: I would say a no-deal Brexit is looking more UNLIKELY and there is going to be a mighty bounce in the SP when some kind of a fudge deal is announced.

I'm going to buy more, mainly to try and bring my break even point down. I think €19 was too high for the stock and I think €10.16 (what it was when I just checked) is too low. I'd imagine when an open skies agreement with the EU has been reached it'll bounce back. Just when to buy is the question. Will it dip below €10 if the deal is rejected tonight.

I'm hoping for somewhere in between the above values. around €15-16.

Not immediately, but over the next couple of years.

Mad to think that nearly 50% of the value has been wiped out in the last year and a half (was €19.42 in August 2017).

I am very tempted, but I am nervous also.

I already own shares bought at under 4.00 years ago.

I believe in the company, I know all their advantages:

cheap debt, their bonds were issued at 1.125% and 1.75% I think
huge orders of aircraft = bulk buying discounts
single type of plane = low maintenance costs
low costs overall
wide profit margins

I realise their labour costs are rising now due to the IR/HR issues, but they still have a cost advantage.

I am nervous..........

Balance sheet looks good

I just can't see how this price is right but I'm not brave enough to put any more cash in.
I'm down about 20% & will leave ride for a few years

Do you guys have money sitting in Degiro or whatever, ready to pounce? Or transfer when you see a good price?

I can't bring myself to use Trustly so I've to wait a couple of days for my money to transfer. Still not there yet.

Not sure if you can do that on Degiro. too risky for me anyway. I'm not a big time investor. Just want to bring my break even point down on Ryanair and then hold.

Downgrade for Easyjet (Ryanairs' closest contemporary) today from Barclays soo Ryanair will be softer too.

I dont want to clog up this thread but what is the importance of the break even point. Have some of ye bought shares when they were very expensive. Is there any where ye could direct me to get a quick fire course in this share business. I’ve 2 k that I’m willing and able to lose if things go wrong. Would like to experience the trill of it for a bit lol.
