Not sure if it's something folks would be interested in but this year I've taken over from beakerjoe in running the annual Pro Wrestling Draft.

Premise: Drafting your ultimate fantasy roster and compiling a PPV card at the end. Players then vote on the best, and much like the Wolfies just gone by, awards are given out for various different things.

Sign Ups are now open if anyone wants to give it a whirl for the laugh.

We have a few previous draft champs in our midst here on FG in Bounty Hunter and beakerjoe, as well as others such as myself and Kolido who have competed previously.

Anyone wants further info they can shoot me a PM, don't want to clog up the OT thread too much with other forum chatter

That is terrible. Id be screwed if that happened. If our IT manager wasnt so busy im pretty sure it would have happened by now. God knows how much money in lost productivity its costing them.

I thankfully work in an area that requires fully internet access, so Im lucky. Had I been in a previous job I would not have the pleasure.

So I feel your pain. Hopefully it wont ruin your modding capabilities come June.

Ditto. We need to have access to full capabilities for google location services in particular, so they until recently, and some moron decided to open their spam mail at work had let us access to our personal email accounts.

One spanner ruins it for everyone but I think it's risky having access to personal email anyways.

When I was doing my PhD, the institution I was working in had really strict internet filters. My PhD was looking at breast milk and nearly every website that mentioned it was blocked under “nudity”. I eventually had to get on to IT and explain that I wasn’t searching for porn, I was searching for its protein composition

Just checked my Town of Salem account info (blankmediagames.com) and I'm glad to find I used a unique password, big cheer for lastpass. So, all the hackers can do is play ToS for me, lol.

I'm sure any of you who have used Town of Salem has gotten the 'we've been hacked email' . Just make sure that if your account used a non unique password, go change that password in all the places that it is used.

Just so you know what they do with this info, their priority will be to access email accounts and social media accounts, so they can sent all your contact a link, which will compromise weak systems, installing either bots, miners, which stay hidden, or just encrypt and lock machine locking for money to unlock (randsomware).

if you are using a password manager and not using the generate password feature, maybe read up how to do that.
if you are not using a password manager, maybe look up what that is.

I only used TOS like twice and had a seperate password I can't even remember for it (like most of my accounts lol). So should be grand. Changed it there anyways just to be sure to be sure.

Folks, I wonder is there appetite round these parts for a murder/mystery type RPG? (Would post in RPG discussion but not sure how many regulars read that thread :P )

I know sometimes the fantasy/sci fi element of RPGs can put people off but there are normal, more Werewolfy type ones as well. Thinking of co-ordinating with Fourier when he has some free time to run a short, low pressure(posting wise) one if there's interest.
