Hi all,

I need a new PC monitor. I will use it mostly for gaming and for general use (work, youtube, etc).

I am looking for a 27 inches monitor and my budget would be around 350 - 400 euros.

Any recommendations?

Seeing "Usually dispatched within 1 to 3 months" on the page would turn me right off. Reviews not to great either.

This could be down to taste but do people find 27" is too big for desktop gaming? Maybe it's the distance I'm at but 24" seems ideal.

has to be gsync. ( which honestly is ridiculous on nvidias account, they should be utilizing free sync.

If you want to chance it, there's currently a workaround for getting freesync running with their cards (you use a cheap AMD card or built in graphics to handle the freesync while all the actual processing happens on the Nvidia card).

I looked at that and honestly its a pretty high possibility. Not overly excited about tn panels but I also have to watch my budget.

yep, it's getting cheaper all the time, I've got a calibrated monitor my dad wants and if I sell it to him for €150 it might ease the dent.

When I say dent I can contribute towards it as I'm getting it as a birthday present.
