Thanks! U've said u lost 5/7.5 stone (that's so impressive!) What kind of time frame is that in? I sit at a computer all day so I'm a bit worried I'm well under the regular expected calorie burning you'd usually expect.

Are u doing anything different this week rather than last time and how r u finding it? Areas wrote: » Use your syns! That's what they're there for! SozBbz wrote: » ok just had a not very on plan panini for lunch Need to nip that in the bud and behave for the rest of the day. Lunches whilst working in town is a real struggle for me. Previously (last time I was following the plan)I had access to a canteen and was able to stay reasonably on plan there, but we've very little in the way of facilities in my current job (we have a fridge and a microwave but nowhere to eat other than your desk). Can anyone suggest good options in town for lunches that are on plan. All i have so far is subway, chopped and M&S but I'm worried I'll get sick of those soon.

I don't do SW as such but when with my other half I eat SW food e.g. we go to Nandos on a Wednesday, cook SW meals on the weekend. I work in Dublin City for the past 8 months and I'd say I can count on my fingers times I've bought lunch out. My fiancee who does SW brings a wholemeal sandwich, choice of meat, spinach and a tablespoon of ketchup along with some homemade soup (my Saturday afternoon fun). You'll save a small fortune, you'll save a tough of time queuing and you'll be on plan!

Maybe I need to get into a habit of going out for some other reason so I feel like I'm actually getting some break from my desk over lunch. Its a very small office compared to my previous jobs so the cabin fever is bad enough as it is!

During the good weather I went out to the Liffey to eat my lunch. Sometimes I go for a walk or days I'm busy I even just go out to the stairwell to get away. Loads of options.

Nope, its literally a kitchenette in the corner of the office, no seating or anything. without getting into specifics, lets just say its not the nicest part of the city center and there are a lot of drug addicts roaming around outside so nowhere really to linger. I'm walking distance to temple bar/dame street and the jervis center area so thats mostly where I've been headed.
