If Clare lose and Limerick win, Limerick are in a Munster Final irrespective of the game in Ennis between the counties as Clare can reach a maximum of only four points. Clare losing is clearly the best outcome for Limerick. This is the case irrespective of Limerick's own fate against Waterford.

Can anyone shed any light into how preparations are getting on for the Clare U20 Footballers ahead of the Munster Championship semi-final against the winners of Cork and Tipp in 2 weeks time? How have challenge matches been getting on for the U20 Footballers in recent months for the Seamus Clancy managed outfit? Can you confirm if the likes of Joe McGann, Jack Morrissey, Damien O'Loughlin and Dermot Coughlan have committed to play for the U20 footballers. In general what type of team can we expect from this team and finally how many clubs are represented on the panel? If these players that I mentioned in the above are available for selection for the U20's then I think a Munster Final appearance is very much a real possibility. However they will most likely will face old adversaries Kerry in the final. Anyone with info on the how preparations are getting on for the U20 footballers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Incredibly poor first touch (by several) bad wides (again) bad decision making (again) poor management approach and yet, we won. I was watching it with my auld fella and just before Clare scored the goal we were ranking the All Ireland contenders and had Galway, Limerick, Cork, Kilkenny, Tipperary, ahead of them with a sense that games between them and Dublin/Wexford could go either way. Waterford have had the worst luck in terms of injuries and that umpire call to be fair to them. Am I being overly pessimistic or did the goal and subsequent points (which were fantastic) paper over a lot of cracks?

Patch, McInerney, Conlon, Podge, SOD and Duggan really stepped up and showed great leadership, something this team hasn't done since '13. Things like for our goal, Conlon's grabbed a 40 yard pass under pressure, laid out a hit to a Tipp man and released Podge through middle. SOD diving to stop a Tipp back getting the ball into his hand before Duggan scored a point. There were several brilliant point's scored at the death too. It was great to see.
