Fcuk that, it wasn't the question on the ballot, it wasn't the issue that was debated and we have no idea yet exactly how the IT framed the question.
(framing the same effective question in a different way will get a different response).
So it should be of no consequence.

Possibly, we will have to wait and see. However, in 2015 YES had 62% of the vote and the only constituency it lost was Roscommon/South Letrim and even then by less than 2%. If the 68% number for YES on the 8th holds true, there is a strong chance that not one single constituency will have voted for it. If that proves to be the case, then not only single politician on the 'no' side will have representing their constituency on the matter.

There is a very strong mandate from the people throughout the country. This will be introduced fairly swiftly and the all politics is local td's will remember what their electorate wanted to save their own asses.

Longford or Mayo most likely to vote no from figs this morning.

I'm not talking about the country overall, I'm talking about the constituencies the TDs mentioned represent.

The Yes vote will likely be lower there than in other places, less than 50% maybe not, but less than the national.

Without repeal it was not possible to legislate. If the No side was sensible, concerned and touched by the facts and, how women are affected, then they would have been on the Yes side. Then they could push for legislation.

It shows the power of misinformation during this campaign as 40% of no voters were in favour of abortion in the case of rape or incest, which they then and voted to prevent.
