For my open day we got to do a one lap run through of the obstacle course. Have read on here though that some people only got to walk around it? Everyone gets a go of the push pull.

A SEVERE case of vetting delay with relatives abroad is 18 months of a wait, can anybody tell me what an average wait might be etc and especially in the case of relatives in america, thanks in advance.

Level 4 of the bleep test We could WALK around the obstacle course And NO ONE got a go on the push pull. Was a waste of time for me.

Ldaw96 wrote: » I got PRK with optalise. Took me about 3 days to heal which was hard but best money i’ve ever spent. 20:20 now and no problems! 100% would recommend!
brandon12345 wrote: » Yeah I got it done with Optilase about 2 months ago after my medical. It was a great success. I have 20/12.5 vision. Which basically means on the eye chart I can see 2 lines below what is 20/20. It cost me 3,490€. My vision beforehand was around -2.5. It's not as bad as you think. It's very quick. Recovery is another thing. From all my research about it I had an idea what to expect. For 3 days after your surgery it's not good. Not to sugar coat it, the 3rd day of healing is basically hell. It was for me and most people's account of it. Imagine having something like am eyelash stuck in your eye all day but 10 times worse and there's no break from it. Painkillers are gonna be your new best friend for those 3 days. But almost magically on the 4th day there's no pain. Your vision starts to get better after the 5th day mark and continues improving until it's pretty much perfect. The sharpness comes after a month or two. Well worth the money for what it is. But I still miss my glasses haha. Ah well.

Probably didn’t realise it would be that sore but better I know I suppose I wore lenses, I was -4.0 so I had to wear them all the time so it’ll be a big change for me but definitely sounds like it’ll be worth it! And you obviously had nicer glasses than me if you miss them.. I wouldn’t wear mine in the back garden in case someone saw me ha
