So to kick it off a few mouth watering charts of the snow and cold potential over the coming days, stay safe.

No they didnt, They have knew this timeline the whole time. Seems like alot of people on this thread incapable of basic math.

It was snowing all day in North County Dublin but for the first time it has turned to sleet. I think this could change to rain not snow. I wouldn't be complaining if it does don't want anymore. Still very strong winds here.

Predicting and tracking course and speed of a weather front is not like downloading an app to your iphone. It is nature - it is unpredictable. ME did a pretty good job in tracking the course of this. They also allowed a few hours buffer from 4pm. Plenty of people were stuck on horrendous roads getting home from work. Look at what happened in Scotland yesterday - hundreds of people stuck in cars overnight. What on earth is all of this anti-ME stuff about?

I am so confused. Been snowing pretty much all day here in D9 and yet my car current has not got more than a handful of snow on it and less now than 2 hours ago....is there a melt on or is it just blown away? Either way seems calmer than earlier
