You picked an odd "miracle" to support your argument btw since even most priests I've met would say that the story of then Loaves and the Fishes was less about Jesus magically making more food but more a morality tale about how two people sharing all they had could encourage others to do so...

Even if one were to disagree with that interpretation of the story, however, it's still, at best, just an anecdote or, at worst, a fairy-tale. Not exactly equivalent to facts.

I'm an Irish mammy raising children religion free. They get a bit of information about some religious sects in school through the learn together programme but otherwise we're a non religious family.
My own parents couldn't care less about religion since all the scandals came back, and even before then they were totally a la carte catholics. They used contraception, lived together before marriage and I'm pretty sure neither of them really believed in god.

Indoctrinated people rarely will ever admit they have been indoctrinated. I don't know if you've ever tried to reason with someone in a high control cult, but half the battle is trying to get them to think rationally and not even hint at them being indoctrinated. A billion people might believe Jonah lived in a whale and as a result their's is the only true faith.

Is it a matter of numbers or what story / fairytale you believe that determines what faith/cult has the right end of the stick and everyone else is wrong?

If he was born in the Middle East he'd likely have been born a Muslim and saying his religion was the one true one and all others are infidels. If he was born in Israel he'd likely be a Jew and thinking his religion was the one true one. You get the picture. One of the reasons all religion is a man made sham.

And if his logic is so weak that he's doing the numbers game and "my religion is the biggest so it must be true"-which is as I said a logical fallacy anyway, Muslims have 1.8 billion adherents

If I think it’s the one true faith then it’s the one true faith for me. I’m not telling you that you have to believe what I believe.
You seem to be permanently upset that so many other humans do have a faith or belief. Why is that? Do you ever ask yourself why you don’t just get on with your own life and let other people get on with theirs?
If I have no argument with any other faith then what is the problem exactly? You are saying that 1 billion+ people are all wrong and you are right.
You can believe that if you wish. No one is arguing with you. You can’t force an entire species to go against human nature and deny the wonder of the world and the universe. For some strange reason the vast majority of our species believe that there is some higher power then ourselves. If your goal is to somehow over ride that by using flippant mildly insulting but ultimately harmless comments then I wish you luck.
Now your going to tell me how oppressed you are by the suffocating presence of RCC in our schools and hospitals but if I ask you how your education or health has been compromised by this then it all gets a little bit vague.
You need to get on with living chrongen, travel a bit and most of all live and let live without acting on the persistent need you seem to have to point st others and tell them how wrong you think they are.
