I'm pretty sure the point is that it's very old fashioned. You associate it with middle-aged or old ladies.

Names often skip two generations then pop back up again
When I was a kid the names Maisie , Ruby , Annie , Mollie , Hannah , Ellie , Ollie ,etc were all older people names

No one in my generation was named so nor the next generation , now I hear those names once again on little kids

I saw the name Maolísa written on an article today, i'm guessing it some sort of version of Melissa? Either way, that poor girl is going to have to spell that for everyone forever. Her folks are lousy.

Its a male or female name and Celtic Irish . It means servant of Jesus , Maol Iosa

My friend works in a creche and she said there's a boy in there called Light. He has brothers called Titus, Brendan and Imreal.

Pretty normal name, it is the Spanish/Italian version of Matthew. Assuming it is not spelled as above, but as Matteo or Mattaeo.
