Correct and I don't think it's been derailed by the few posts ref the phone scam the poster thought was related to the purchase of his OP5 but it's not about back seat modding either. If you've a problem with a post I suggest you follow the rules and report it to a mod.

I got my Oneplus 5 yesterday and am on ID mobile Ireland. I can't get network 4G/3G access. I've been onto ID for ages and tried lots of suggestions but I was finally told I needed to go to get a new SIM card. I don't think this is the actual problem. Is anyone on the forum on ID and could they tell me how they got access to the network?

My OP5 is on VF but I've 3 family members on ID Mobile (excellent deal and excellent coverage) but not using OP5's.

I'd suggest you follow the instructions here and follow the instructions for either HTC, Huawei or Alcatel.

Has anyone heard when/if the OP5 will be coming back into stock through their store? Do you think the rumours of the 5T or 6 are true or are OP just having inventory/manufacturing issues?

Im only guessing but ya probably correct rumours of 5T coming in November. I imagine there will more information soon.

As for myself, I Will be buying the hell out of this if it comes out. Passed on the 5 but only just, almost clicked that Buy button many times over the last few months but had a feeling those bezels were going to go. it's a wonder they didn't wait till the 6 to do the screen format change tho.
... Cant say I'm over-joyed at seeing the finger print on the back but I had a G4 before and know you get use to it very quickly. and the 50 euro price bump...

I bought an OP5 and the launch of an OP5T doesn't bother me in the slightest. OP can't dictate the pace at which technology moves. If people demand/expect bezel free devices because Samsung/Apple etc are launching them OP5 can either compete or be left behind. OP5 not launching a new model doesn't mean the old model remains "flagship" until they do.

Personally I love my OP5 and like having a bezel as I use a bumper style case which I don't think is possible without a bezel unless you want the edges of the screen covered up.

I also prefer the fingerprint reader built into a physical home button on the bottom.

I had the original OPO for almost 3 years and still have it as a back up phone. I expect I'll have the OP5 for at least 2 years. It serves all my needs and will continue to do so regardless of what new devices come along unless there is a truly revolutionary breakthrough such as a battery which lasts a week or a foldable screen etc. Tweaks to the design such as smaller bezels and minor bumps in processing power or storage make no material difference to me.

Could be wrong, but they seem to be supporting the 3 and the 3T in parallel to each other, and that's with different SOCs. I think 5 owners can take a degree of comfort from that.

Sexy. Fixed the only thing I didnt like about the OP5. I might even get some use out of my free Loop VR headset that sat in my closet since I got it :pac:

Hopefully it will it get a battery bump like the 3T did compared to the 3...although I wouldn't be surprised if OnePlus decreased.

I received an OP5 as an unexpected present, have been using it for a month or so, in the meantime I had sent a Huawei P9 to my insurance company to be fixed and they've replaced it with a P10. Insurance wise it seems an awful lot handier to just keep the p10 on my current plan and sell the OP5 rather than try to insure the latter. Question is, What would boards do? The OP5 is the 64g model.

I bought the fast charger for my car yesterday. I'll be on the road a lot over the next few weeks and I listen to a lot of podcasts when I'm driving so hopefully it was a good purchase. Any feedback from anyone?

Works perfectly and can really give the phone a power boost if you are just doing a short(ish) journey.

For reasons I won't bore you with I tend to use a retractable micro USB cable with a USB C adaptor to charge the phone on long journeys and I couldn't believe it when I saw the phone actually increase battery % whilst on charge despite using GPS and podcasts through the car audio system via Bluetooth. My old OPO used to burn battery on GPS even whilst charging.
