Milltown and corofin in one pot and themselves and Eire og in the other Because corofin had played Eire og earlier in the championship they can't meet again which only left one outcome and that's corofin v curry s Milltown v Eire og Nobody at the time spotted the mistake until it was too late . The fixtures should be changed around . The real joke here is the fixtures are down for the weekend . The complaints went in last Tuesday and its only been delt with now

Clare had a very defined style before the boys took over and that can take quite a while to alter. I don't think they were helped by Ballyhea's extended run either in their first year. Daly is a nice bloke and I have met him a few times, but he's a bit of a chancer to be fair, a reputation built on very little substance and I'm fcuked if I know, or anyone in Limerick that I have talked to, what exactly he was supposed to be doing in Limerick, the term money for old rope comes to mind.

danganabu wrote: » I don't think they will ever win an AI in hurling to be honest, for the same reason that Tipp will never win a senior football AI, simple fact is that the first choice of any player in Dublin will be football and in affect what you have on the hurling panel are lads that weren't good enough to play football for Dublin, same problem in Tipp only vice versa (thankfully). There is a glass ceiling there that they wont break through as long as that mentality remains and obviously football will always be number one, hurling an after thought - Conal Keaney a perfect example.

If the county board made winning an AI in hurling a greater priority than it is and picked the right 5-8 guys in their early 20's and told them that the panel was going to be built around them for the next 5 yrs and that they'd get the same support as the footballers are getting, (background staff etc) with a view to getting that AI then I'd think they'd do it. Subject to maintaining commitment from both sides of course.
