Done a couple of round bets, 345, looked at a fighter to have a point taken off as a possibility, you would imagine McGregor will be trying to make it as rough as possible and won't be considering outpointing him so him overstepping with the rules is not out of the question

Watching that video brings it all home to roost. If only Nate had accuracy in his punches....Connor too. These guys are out of their depth. Conor's sparring footage does nothing to dispell it. Apart from the one good straight left he landed on Paulie there were so many misses. Floyd is so much more accurate.

Tapping out to a submission move isn't quitting. Its a choice between going unconscious/breaking a limb and losing or just losing with your limbs in tact. Once a black belt in BJJ has you there's no getting out of it.

You've got a bigger qambling problem than you think if you bet on this fight.

A lot of boxing purists on here calling the fight a circus or a farce and yet only too happy to throw money on it.

I won't be putting a cent on it as I am seeing this as more of a entertainment event than anything else.
I'd rather bet on something more normal.

This is just my opinion but if Mayweather just boxes the ears off him, I'll consider it a damp squib.

I don't anticipate Floyd having a bad night, he never does. But Conor certainly has had a few "off nights" in his MMA career... so it's certainly possible, that he has a very bad night on his pro boxing debut. He is very much jumping straight in the deep end for his debut fight!

It's the opposite for me. I can only see a Mayeather win, He's the best boxer in the world, and has faced many fighters with superior power to Conor, such as Canelo Alvarez, Miguel Cotto and Marcos Maidana, and each of those guys were world champion boxers, compared to Conor who has never boxed at any high level, amateur or pro.

In Ireland regardless of how well McGregor does you will always have the detractors who don't respect MMA and see it as pure violence. It will be near impossible for Conor to ever get officially recognized in this country.

Pay attention please: We were talking about punch power and while it's true than on average, boxers punch harder than mma fighters, that still doesn't mean that for certain we know that McGregor therefore can't possibly punch harder than some of the boxers Floyd has faced. We simply do not have a sufficient barometer thus far to make such a claim, nobody does and for anyone to claim they know he doesn't, and base their reasoning on the mere fact that boxing is a different sport and McGregor's an mma fighter......very much is sneering.

I like Paddy but he's talkin complete bollix here - He's goin to look very foolish come next Sunday. Im a fan of both sports but boxing has always been no.1 for me, Ive seen it time and again when MMA lads come into boxing clubs wanting to spar straight away and they get hurt with big shots 9 times out of 10. Most of them have no defence, no head movement, arent used to taking shots from proper punchers and throwing big looping shots and arm punches.
