Sorry, I don't know how to link to a specific post on Reddit on my phone, but here's what's been said about coins:

Great question, /u/reasonableoption. A Pokémon will earn PokéCoins based on how long it defends a Gym. Once its motivation meter is empty and it's defeated in battle, it will return to its Trainer and come back with PokéCoins

Nothing. In fact the berries thing will benefit them.

But my reading of the Raid thing is that you don't have to be beside the gym, but will combine with players from everywhere. So in a way the solution to spoofing may be to let us all spoof!

that would be cool, if you can at least tap on a gym from distance and then join a raid. Wonder if the same raid boss in my local gym spawn then aswell in 100's of gym's around the world , thus increasing your chance of getting 20 people in game with you.

So sounds like your mon still stay in the gym if he's not motivated.

My nearest gym has been greyed and says its disabled. Didnt get my mon returned to me though

Gyms are down now. All white, and there's a message displayed when you try to click on one. Pokemon still not back though. Waiting to see if I need to revive them, or if I can dump my stash of revives!

and when raids come - it would be great of we could organise a boards raid... especially as raid participants do not need to be on the same team.

I'm in Vegas a week now and still have not seen a Tauros. Just back from Fremont street and no sign down there either. Anybody know a spot on the strip that is good for Tauros?

Im up for that! I work in city centre and can choose my lunch hours most of the time so count me in!! (grinding towards lvl38 now)

Not much help but I did see that YouTube lad Reversal say he's been in LA the last week for E3 and hasn't seen a Tauros either

Trainertips livestream at the moment. This was mentioned, apparently it might take a little time for all pokemon to return. But they definitely will go back to their trainers. No mention of revive needed or not however.

My missus is aircrew and goes to Chicago quite often. I was going to get over but about 2 days after the announcement I remember that I have a very important family event that weekend. Bugger!

Went through glasnevin cemetery and botanic gardens today over 20 pokestops very high level ponyta a 919cp loads of growlithe and vulpix and a few houndour plus a right fecker of a gym at the viking house in the gardens worth a visit tomorrow if you can I barely touched on the stops in the graveyard and there is a couple of gyms there too. Hopefully they'll be back up running by Morning

I don't think you'll have to revive pokemon when they come back. If I recall correctly all pokemon got returned when gen 2 dropped, and they didn't have to be revived.

That didn't happen as I still have a Mon in a gym since October

Just passed 400 Cyndaquil candy for this event - I think this has to be one of my favourite events yet, the increased XP for throws and eggs, Cyndaquil everywhere and Houndour not too far behind. I did have a Cyndaquil spawn point recently but aside from that I'd say I see maybe one a month, never seen a Houndour in Waterford city before.

I bought two tickets. Don't really know why, I just went to buy them and actually got two so just went with it in the slim chance I could go. Thought I'd have no issue selling them on if I couldn't go. Seems that the only way I can get the tickets is to collect them in Chicago though. So I probably just wasted 50 quid and used up two tickets. Oops.

I guarantee 99.9% (judging from screenshots) you will have to be around the gym vicinity to raid.

On the other head the worst thing about the new system is - from the looks of it - no way to guarantee a 100 coin per day payout.

Seems like there are new gyms popping up aswell, or pokestops becoming new gyms
