This is actually a dangerous scenario to be allowing a complete nobody boxer into the ring with an experienced professional. It's not tiddlywinks. Has Conor got nobody to advise him of the dangers? Mayweather may not be Julian Jackson as regards one shot power, but the facts remain that it doesn't take all that much force to cause injury or worse in a boxing ring.

The shots he takes in MMA are not the same as what he may take against Floyd with 8-10 oz gloves, delivered at lightning speed, and with accuracy. Conor "looking" three weight classes bigger still won't stop his head taking such real flush shots. Like I said, it doesn't take real power to cause real injury in pro boxing. And the 8-10 oz gloves certainly will not feel like pillows when they land. They may look it compared to hardened and compacted 4 oz MMA gloves. That's just looks. Bigger volume glove means more surface are to connect with, and they aren't pillow like when they land. They won't slip or slide near as much as the smaller MMA gloves.
