Dim driver driving without lights on a dark morning, it was only the lights of the car following that made him visible.

Somewhere in Dublin... Just as the Duggan Systems bus van enters the bus lane, a cyclist joins the same lane - without checking for traffic first. He survives and can shortly after be seen on the other side of the road, again in the bus lane, now cycling against the direction of traffic.

Also in this video: plenty of undertaking in the bus lane and general suspension of the rules of the road and common sense. Probably a traffic violation every ten seconds on average.

Timestamp on the video says it's after 7pm. I don't know that road. Are the bus lanes on it open to general traffic after 7?

That's the Crumlin (childrens hospital on the right) to long mile road. That was during the euro's by the look of it with all the flags, as far as I'm aware tose bus lanes only operate until 7pm. There's still a bit of speedy undertaking going on though.

I was wondering the same at the time. That was a massive clean up job and could have been very easily prevented.

Not to mention the cost to the company of the load lost too...

At least it can be cleaned up.
There's an awful lot of concrete spillage "rumble strips" at various junctions.
Once it spills and sticks it never wears off.

true, although we were lucky we didn't have rain that day - I'd suspect there would be unwanted "rumble strips" on that section!

Milks meant to be the worst when it spills. Heard before that they have to totally resurface the road if a milk tanker goes over our a trucks sheds a load of cartons. Something in the milk reacts with the asphalt which causes it to disintegrate very quickly

Typical Irish driving. Same exact thing anytime they hear an emergency service siren, just stamp on the brakes and sit blocking everyone including the ambulance/garda.

But sure he wasn't breaking the shpeed limit so is officially a great driver.

That was the whole reason for it. Amazing how trivial it looks on the video but at the time it felt like it was a lot closer and happened quicker. I didn't know why he was braking at all until I finally copped the other car. Avensis started braking lightly then slammed on them which caught me by surprise as I hadn't seen why he was doing it.

Think he got a fright though. Had a small one myself. Could have stopped a bit quicker but had some others cars close behind me so didn't want to get rear ended.

Looking at it he came around bend and car was right in front of them, the other car was only just over the line when level. Poor bugger in front must have nearly shat themselves. Wet road not helping either.

If you count the guys parked on the pavement and cycle lane, about every five seconds, I'd guess.
