According to Veloviewer, my lowest ranking on a Strava segment leaderboard is 52,724th. I suspect it may be abroad through. (I had a mechanical in London a few years ago and walked for several miles through numerous segments so I suspect it's there).

Was just thinking this yesterday - got off my bike and strolled along chatting to someone for half a k or so. It would be good if Strava could do like FitBit and distinguish walking movements from cycling movements.

Wonderful idea.
Most major Downhill Mountainbike races are run in places, where there are cable car uplifts for the competitors.
Downhill World Cup for Dublin?, wouldn't that be great? Close to Ferry ports, Airport, Motorway.

the main problem with opening a cablecar with the intention of using it for downhilling is that you probably need to buy all the land downhill of it.

Anyone commute out towards Lucan around these parts? Need to get out to Palmerstown tomorrow and I'm just curious about the best route to take from Chappo up to the Old Lucan Road. Is it easiest to just salmon up the sliproad between the garage and the village?

Not a limit as such but you could be done for dangerous cycling if you were too fast for the pedestrians or other cyclists in the area (is it "furious cycling" for the legal term).

Am(ateur) tip: if coming to Dublin from Bray on the Coast road.

Killiney hill road is doable, even enjoyable on a singlespeed.

Vico road on the other hand is a sin your knees will never forgive.

Footpads know no laws. Footpaths, on the other hand, require Zen.
