There is a Spotyify family option alright. it's €15 a month for up to 6 people, so works out at just €2.50 per person. There's a thread here where people are setting up groups to avail of the discount

True, but I still like to have something physical to show for handing over my money. I suppose it's just the old fashioned way of doing things. Not that I'm ancient or anything but I was buying music/DVDs/books before the digital age so it's hard to shake the habit.
