For a grown man to walk around with a cowboy hat on non-stop to hide receding hair and baldness, it takes a lot of ego. His ego is obviously hurt by the emergence of Conor. He gets paid way less than Conor, gets way less attention and comes across as a parody of Stone Cold. Before the rise of McGregor there was a case that Cowboy was one of the top 3 or 4 draws/characters in the UFC. Now, he's just another dude. Don't get me wrong, i think he's a brilliant fighter to watch and his fights are always entertaining but he's clearly affected by jealousy.

When they line us all up they take Conor and put him in another room because he can’t be around other fighters because we don’t play that s***. ‘(He is disliked) by all. By all. He’s not one of the fellas, he’s not a good dude. ‘But it is what it is, he’s done a good job promoting the sport.

Apart from your evergreens like yer Bonos and yer whoever elses, i'm not sure there are too many Irish people who are more famous that him in Ireland right now. I'm open for correction (again)

Musn't be too many about or I guess it was a bigger story just to focus on Conor. Yeah, I think he is bouncing for Conor as in the two or three minutes I seen from when they got out of their car and walked over to Yamamori, they must have been asked to do selfies eight or nine times in those 25 to 30 yards or so and Charlie seemed to be politely trying say they were in a rush to a few of them. Conor did give selfies to around half of those that asked though. Which most likely means that just as a result of the brief amount of time, four or five people went home and told people they met Conor and he was sound and the other four or five people went home saying they met him and he was an asshole. Can you imagine what it must be like for him to walk up a busy Grafton St. Must be mayhem. There's no way he could stop and give everyone a selfie that asked. Sure it would take him hours to get from end of the street to the other if he did. Seen a lot of celebs over the years in Dublin and I don' think I ever seen anyone get that get of immediate attention from members of the public. In fact I remember seeing Bono walk from the Kitchen one day back in the 90's, at the height of U2's fame, all the way through Temple Bar and nobody stopped him :P Conor's level of fame seems at another level. Dublin has a rep for tending to leave famous people alone but Conor's seems more accessible than most and so people, from what I seen at least, seem to just approach him like they know him. Well paid for the inconvenience of it all I know, but I'm sure he needs the patience of a saint at times.

That head first style of punching is tailor-made for McGregor, he's proved time and again in his career he picks apart these opponents. What makes Eddie different to Aldo or Brimage is that he's got excellent wrestling so there's always the level-change to worry about. Conor did a better job in the Diaz rematch in the clinch. In the first fight he took about 10 unanswered strikes in the clinch before he shot for that takedown. In the second fight, he did far better at controlling Nates wrists and bouncing shots off his shoulders. I just can't see this fight lasting much longer than 2 rounds and if it does go the distance then the chances are it's been an attritional battle against the cage with Eddie wearing Conor down. With Eddies chin being so suspect, his style of punching, and conors counter-punching being so good, i think this will be an early KO or TKO for Conor.
