Calling Claudio Bravo a clown after a tough first game with a whole new (players & staff, way of playing, team balance, etc...) City team that still has to find its pace is a bit of a knee-jerk reaction.

This could work in Citys favour long term as it will give them more space to attack but it will also mean they'll concede more goals too which is probably all that matters with regards to FPL.

And they both may be 2 persons I'm really not a fan of (too much ego kills it for me) but I can't and don't deny their talent. Also pressuring high a Guardiola's team... Well maybe I underestimate a lot the EPL but it is one thing to have seen what to do, it's a complete different one to actually do it. So, outside Chelsea and maybe Spurs, I'm not sure many other teams will be able to put City under pressure.

Don't forget Guardiola's teams are generally CS whores and Claudio Bravo beat the "invincibility record" (don't know how you call it in english, I mean the most minutes without conceding a goal) in La Liga, which, even with Barcelona defense upfront is not an easy thing when you consider the amount of goals in La Liga. 754 min i.e. 8 CS in a row. Anyway, it may still be too early to have or keep a City def but it feels to me exactly like Chelsea a couple of seasons ago (when Mourinho came back IIRC). We were all crazy about Ivanovic or Terry early on. Got disappointed by their first 4-5 GWs. Then they had a great run before and during Christmas, Terry & Azpi becoming essential for their CS & respectively goals and assists contributions. I'd be surprised if Guardiola's City doesn't turn out to be a must-have defense asset in a couple of weeks.

I mean come on, I know he flopped at Liverpool but 4.5m is far too cheap for someone of his quality, I presume he'll rise in price after scoring at the weekend, so I had to do it early in spite of the midweek European action and potential injuries.
