Easily be the biggest of his career, unless he managed to beat McGregor and set up a future trilogy bout with him also. Highly doubt that though but guess you never know.

If he fights Aldo and loses, 2 defeats in 3 is really going to hurt their top draw. Any chance Conor had at the LW belt would be gone for a while and he would have to compete in the FW division again.

He says he wishes more FW's were like him, that he is a good guy They have a friendly rivalry and its only when the cameras are on him that he makes you go "Son of a bitch!" but he understands he is promoting himself and has no problem with it. After everything that has gone on I did get a chuckle reading it, signs are that Conor is going to defend against him before going for a unification belt. Dana is not backing down according to reports, still plenty to run in this one by the looks of it. Absolutely no outcome would come as a surprise.

Might not neccesarily be the case now. All speculation of course and we all could be spouting out of our arse as no one really has a clue.

Dana's power came from being president, he's still the president. He only holds a token stake in Zuffa, not a controlling share. He may even still hold some share. The Ferditta were the owners and could have overruled him just as easily as the new owners.

Reeks of ITK click-bait bollix I see, he means title defences in general. Aldo was one of the most active champs in the UFC right up until he had a bad run of injuries dropping his average FPY. Dunno why we need to knock one to build another up I hope he's full of sh!t on this one tbh. Unsubstantiated rumours of shenanigans get old very fast in any sport, and I certainly don't want to see a fighter like Aldo's image getting destroyed. Seems to me that ever since Lance Armstrong's fall from grace a few years ago, everything from scraps in school playgrounds to choosing the next pope is mired by doping allegations. :pac:

It's incomparable. The fact he gets cited by the Mainstream MMA media shows he's at least somewhat credible. Doesn't mean everything he says is gospel but it's not a comparable thing to Youtube comments.
