Rsaeire wrote: » At the moment, I'm getting nothing new from the 2km and 5km eggs, which is why it's 10km or nothing. I'm also adding more new Pokemon to the Pokedex through catching or evolving so going to specific places to catch rare Pokemon, as opposed to walking extra km just to hatch eggs in the chance of acquiring a new Pokemon, seems to be a better use of my time. With all that said, things might change over time but, for now, this is my plan.

Lots of great eggecutes on bull island and st Anne's parks has been decent for growlithes. Very good area get the odd dratini and a bulbasaur at the Royal Dublin golf club. Anybody know of some gyms which look impossible to take down, the Royal Dublin hospital to me is impossible and most of Dublin seems to be mystic and picked valor so things are quite difficult.

There's something fundamentally wrong with the banner when I find myself ignoring a Pinsir and picking up the 75cp weedle beside it instead. And the weedle fled, of course.
jonnycivic wrote: » anyone noticed that pokemon are spawning more often in the last few days?
jonnycivic wrote: » Well theres one place outside my house and I would call it a nest as every couple of hours a new rare mon will spawn there and it was also one of those (Swirling leaves things) before they removed them.
pickarooney wrote: » How do people define a nest? For me it's at least for or five per hour or several at once.

jonnycivic wrote: » Nope, a blastoise nest. Theres a small village I drive through on the way across country to work. I stopped to grab pokeballs this morning as theres 2 stops right beside each other and the Blastoise was showing up in the sightings list. At the exact same time in the morning 8.30ish and evening 7pmish I have seen the same outline for over a week now. I will hunt later and see if I can get it tho.
jamescd wrote: » Lol if such a place exists, everyone will flock towards it :pac: You meant Squirtle nest surely?
jonnycivic wrote: » I found a blastoise nest today aswell so I am going to hit that on the way home this evening
Rsaeire wrote: » That's much more frequent! Hopefully that keeps up for you
jonnycivic wrote: » Overall I have them spawning more frequent. Normally it takes me a week or two to catch enough to level up. Yesterday I started out on level 18 (5000 out of 25000 xp), anytime I had a minute or two to play I threw it on and caught a few. Ended up @ level 19 last night without any evolves done. and am half way through level 19.

I think it fixes one of the fundemental flaws the game has in that it gives your starter Pokemon a chance of not being useless. I agree that squirtles are the most common of the starters, I've seen him wild a few times as well as wild (low CP) Wartortles. Seen bulbasaur wild once and had a wild pikachu in my sightings but couldn't find it in time. Never seen a wild charmander, never seen any wild fire type here to be honest. 71 in the dex, with 4 new evolves ready for my next lucky egg haul. I'm in the UK next week for a few days so I might get some there. Anyone use a mifi device for roaming?
