My first Tauros was in the US, I am approx 80% certain it hatched from an egg which I had been incubating before I traveled, but it was late US time, I was a very tired. (walked for about 2 hours in NY catching pokemon!) And it was before I knew Tauros was Region specific so I didnt actually realise what it meant.

Got my first 1000CP mon tonight, a Pinsir of all things. My previous ones were all sub 100. Nearly at level 20 now so I will quit catching pidgees and the like tomorrow. I could do with a high CP eevie to evolve but jay keep finding c. 300 things everywhere.

Do not evlove your Gastly.
Gastly's are double evolve wait til you have 125 candies, that way you will have the strongest possible Gengar.

Is there more XP to be gathered from evolving your Metapod into a Butterfree than there is from Caterpie to Metapod? I often catch these guys just to do the evolutions for XP, just wondering is it worth holding onto the Metapod and evolving it to Buterfree, or just get rid of it and collect the 12 candies to evolve another Caterpie?

I meant a magic egg to double xp points and get me to level 25, which was a disappointment for goodies. No incubator

I hatched 2 5k eggs today though. Both of them Krabbies. Like their mother.

Same XP points for all evolutions. Better off evolving weedles, pidgeys, caterpies en masse with a magic egg. Also evolving a new Pokemon will give you more points.

Damn used incense about 45 minutes ago got s Mr Mime shadow but didn't spawn. There is nothing in Finglas South, nothing at all here. Gotta walk to Cabra at 8am so hope to hatch my 5km egg. Come on Big Money baby.

Unless you really want a high CP Butterfree, but not worth it.

I evolved my highest CP metapod a while back for the craic and have a 798 Butterfree that I don't use.

I've used incense on the road here where I usually pick up some great Pokemon and had no extra success. Was talking to two kids one night, one of them could see a Charmander on his nearby list, me and his brother could not; turns out he was using incense. He still couldn't find it though.

Also, dropping lures. Kids are always placing lures along the seafront and in the park but never seem to catch anything other than what normally shows there. I've used two lures, one at a wedding where the venue was sitting right on a Pokestop, someone else had already placed a lure and we were catching great Pokemon, so I used one of mine. (Me and five kids playing Pokemon outside while the adults did adulty things like speeches and dances, yep.) I did the same at an airport when I was sitting at a stop where a lure had been placed and the Pokemon selection was decent, so I placed a lure after.

Nah, just evolves for the points. I was only assuming that a second level evolve would have more XP than a first, but if not, then that's easy!

Yeah I think lures seem to be working out better than incense.
I used incense earlier when using my lucky egg and it wasn't great. I'm a fair bit away from a pokestop this evening so it's grand for that.

Also my bag storage seems to have increased to 350 with my level up. That's handy.

Aye, it'd make sense to get more points and maybe stardust for 2nd level evolves. And at least some more candy for trades to the prof.

My GPS today was all over the place, for some reason my character was walking about 50 metres to my left and nothing I did could get him back on track, so annoying, however i did catch an abra and squirtle because of that so i guess I can't complain.
Also hatched a ponyta and a scyther today chuffed as they're new in my pokedex.

My boyfriend's phone does this all the time! He caught a Pokemon about half a mile away from my house while watching TV with me. Also, I have managed to walk 800 metres the odd time, while sitting down at home. Also I was "going too fast"!

One evening too I was about 200 metres from where I actually was! I couldn't pick up anything from the stops. I couldn't walk 200 metres the other way to rectify this because of sea. Silly sea.

So had a weird experience yesterday! I went to St. Stephen's Green on my way home to try and acatch a few mons. I opened up the app and instead of the green field area (as I was in a park) with pokestops and gyms, I got street map with no pokestops or gyms BUT on my nearby there was an ekans, a doduo and a geodude. Bar the geodude, I have never seen a doduo on my nearby and only once an ekans. The ekans popped up on my screen and I caught it but I feel as if I shouldn't have had the chance to catch it!! As I said there were no pokestops or gyms!! It was dead weird!! The game glitching maybe?

Was late to work today but instead of seeing my usual flame tailed buddy i saw the shadows of an Onix for the first time. Was tempted to go hunting but my grown up sensibilities kicked in :rolleyes:

Just went onto the back stairs in my workplace. When there my avatar sometimes runs around the town I work in. Anyway, I was running around and next spotted a Snorlax just standing there! First one I've seen in the wild, saw a Shadow near where I live on Saturday for the first time & he de-spawned before I found him. Came up as CP??, very worried that I might not get him first time & he could run away but 2 rasberries & 2 ultra balls later and I now have a CP 1561 Snorlax. He's now my highest CP 'mon and also the highest by about 400cp 'mon that I've caught in the wild. I now have 93 in the pokdex.

Popped a lure a earlier. Got three ratata and two pidgees in 30 minutes. Awful. Lures have been crap for me!!

So how many have people got in their pokedex now? I've 87 but 3 new ones ready to evolve.

I'm convinced that the best thing to spend coins on is incubators.

I need to go to the beach to find all those seels and shelders.

Got a maxed out geodude from a 2k egg today. Well impressed. Only 5k eggs left. They're a bit crap as you have to walk a fair bit and you're unlikely to get anything new or special. Probably all Nidorans.

Level 25 with 96 in the Pokedex.

Like others, I'm really close to evolving several more but I'm currently waiting on a little bit more candy and also on higher IV Pokemon so I have the best versions available to fight in Gyms, e.g. Poliwrath, Arcanine, Gyrados, Victreebel etc.

1/4 way towards level 23.
99 in pokedex, going to have 3 new evolves at weekend, (Butterfree, Arbok, Rapidash) might get enough candies for 2-3 more in the meantime. (Exeggutor,Ninetails,Charmeleon,Poliwrath are all close)
2 10km eggs on the go so might even get something rare from them (doubt it though!)

wartorle, blastoise, nidoqueen, machoke, slowbro, electrode, rhydon, gyarados on the way when I turn on my next lucky egg but i'll think i'll hold out for a better squirtle, rhyhorn and slowpoke.

Picked up a Magnemite this morning on Dawson street using the tracking method (it really works) so I've 87 Pokemon from 87 seen. I've a maxed out Magikarp (CP154) so am gonna evolve that on Thursday which will give me 88 Pokemon!
