Restart your game. If that doesn't work, restart your phone. Not sure why that solves it but it has for me a few times.

Not something people usually post about but I caught a 750CP Pidgeotto this morning, by far the best I had, even from evolutions.
Also caught a 680CP Eevee, also my best. And finally evolved a Nidoqueen which the IV calculator say is 97% perfect, so probably my best Pokemon!

Btw, anyone in Waterford, Ballytruckle around Garveys pub now seems to be a regular spot for Jynx if you need one.

Lads, where is good for electric and fire pokemon in Dublin? I've hit a wall at 90 owned. I just keep seeing the same mons over and over, granted I've stuck to a fairly central route 'on my way'. I own a lot of water types as I live along the canal.

Nice! Wouldn't mind that happening to me, its been quite a while since ive seen an unknown on my nearby list, probably about a week and a half ago a Muk was on the nearby list around the far side of merrion square heading towards stephens green but couldn't find it, and haven't seen it around there since either!

I think Mr. Mime has been released into the wild cos I just catch one in my estate on the way back from the shop. Weak little thing but new to my deck.

I caught one (the only one I ever had nearby/sightings) in the first four weeks of play. Saw two yesterday and caught one. Someone posted a few pages back that Niantic had increased the spawn rates of the regional Pokemon yesterday.

Caught my 2nd strongest ever Wild Pokemon an hour and a half ago, a 2131CP Vaporeon

It has 82% Perfect IV's too. I've already got a few Vaporeons, but I'm still well chuffed.

Best wild catch is still the 2300CP Snorlax I caught quite a while ago. Also caught a 741CP Eevee not long after that. Great day overall

That bug where gym Pokemon get stuck on 1HP is the greatest pain in the arse. Twice had battles end on time because a fecking Snorlax wouldn't just die.

People are saying, expect to find high CP at higher levels; like 1000+ CP.
I'm level 22 and have never seen anything over 1000. Highest I've seen, and caught, was 878 Starmie. The only way I get 1000+ is through evolutions.
Am I missing something?

That's incredible! Not sure I've ever seen a Vaporeon over 2000CP. Where was it? And how tough? Strongest wild catch I've had is only 1150CP

I was walking along the canal near the Ninth Lock Road in Clondalkin. Coordinates are 53.329074, -6.397877

I caught it on the 2nd throw (using Razz Berry and Ultra balls of course). I almost had a heart attack when it broke out on the 1st throw, but thankfully it didn't run

I'm level 26 and play Pokemon Go a lot more than I should, but those kind of catches are still incredibly rare. My eyes literally almost popped out when I saw the CP. It's just down to luck. I try to click on almost every Pokemon I come across to check out its CP and just happened to be lucky this time. I've ran into 2 or 3 other Vaporeons in the past, but the strongest one previously was only like 1100CP.

I saw a screenshot earlier of two Vaporeons side by side. I really need to go to that magic road. I've pretty much exhausted this city with 79 caught and about six more I can reasonably expect to evolve. 66 carp candies now. Heck of a way to go...
