My view is that those who practice already know , those who don't , only need to understand that some people do. They can see that in the world around them and learn more on their own time. As far as I know they don't teach science in primary . I'd prefer if they taught that instead of more religion . Religion needs to be less of a presence in public life, not more , especially for non believers. Believers don't need lessons .

Judging by the noticeable drop in suicide bombers since then, I have full confidence that your pig blood theory will work wonders to bring a screeching halt to attacks on the west. Terrorist suicide bombers who blow themselves up don't give a flying f*ck what happens to their bodies, post death, as another poster pointed out.

In a week when its barbaric actions saw it top news agendas across the world, it was claimed that the Islamic State was actually scared. Of women. The Wall Street journal reported that guerrillas linked to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) had joined other Kurdish fighters, specifically the Peshmerga, in trying to retake Mosul Dam from Isis. Among the PKK fighters are hundreds of women, one of whom told the WSJ: The jihadists don't like fighting women, because if they're killed by a female, they think they won't go to heaven. The claim is, however, almost certainly not true. Isis fighters, in part reflecting the nature of modern warfare, are told they will be martyred if they die in battle, regardless of who killed them. "They believe whoever kills them - man or woman - it doesn't matter, [they will still go to heaven]," Isis expert Shiraz Maher, senior fellow at ICSR, King's College London, told i100.http://indy100.independent.co.uk/article/do-isis-militants-really-hate-fighting-female-soldiers--eyuMLkyU7e

If the pig blood story is true then Hollande would've gotten every imam in France to preach this fatwa and there would be no more suicide terrorists. These are quite likely urban myths. Check snopes.com maybe they have busted it.

I'm sure even some people who were against the intervention in Iraq and Afghanistan might change their minds. At the very least they'd lose sympathy for the people who are doing it. And Imahine how it would affect the american soilders. Abusing dead bodies just seems like overkill (no pun intended) to most people. Rather than a tactic to prevent attacks it seems like taking vengeance on the dead.

I have come here to kill Isis.’ "

There was a push some time ago to get everyone to use 'Daesh' as the official name, rather than 'Islamic State', because 'Islamic State' contains the word Islam, and certain people were afraid it would lead to Islam having some negative connotations  It's not some kind of government conspiracy or a false flag op, it's just some 2nd gen Arabs using Arabic - further proof that they are disenfranchised and see themselves as Muslims/Arabs first, French last.
