Crimes you would like to try out if no penalty

Are there any crimes you would like to try out if there was no penalty?
Say you are given a licence for one day only to do any crime you like, with a guarantee of no arrest, no jail, no criminal record after etc.
Personally I would like to murder a pedophile.
Just him and I locked in a cell for hours, no weapons, no witnesses, no CCTV.
I would beat him to death.

Being attracted to children and controlling yourself and doing no harm is vastly different to those who abuse. They should have access to help and support and hopefully will solve whatever issues caused this dysfunction.

Bank robbing. Planning and executing a bank robbery would be a huge challenge, if you knew that you could do it without any punishment, I'd go for it.

I sometimes wonder why there weren't more people doing it back in the 50s and 60s. Before CCTV, the internet helping Gardai communicate and share information and general better security, it would have been a lot easier to get away with something like that back then.

I agree that its a mental illness due to the fact that any action taken upon the attraction will result in trauma for the victim unlike with other legal types of sexual intercourse.
But really what you're saying is quite hurtful, people can't help being born paedophiles any more than you can help your attraction to adult males or females. If they have not committed crimes against children and are trying to keep the thoughts out of their head then they should be treated with kindness and we should try to help them get through this mental illness. Innocent paedophiles should not be isolated or shunned as this will only decrease their quality of life further and Im sure make them more likely to actually assault children if they feel like outsiders in society.

No. I am saying that sometimes people are born with attractions they cannot supress. Controlling oneself and doing no harm is commendable. You just want them dead.

Not wanting to kill everyone who abuses a child doesn't make you sympathetic towards them, it makes you reasonable. Would you kill anyone who touches a child, how do you think that would work? Do you think kids will recover quicker if the person who abused them, usually a relative, is dead?

Im sure 99% of paedophiles would not be paedophiles if they had the choice. Because sooner or later they're going to give in and hurt a child or watch kiddie porn (just as bad). If we get to the stage we're someone can announce in public "I am a pedo, but don't worry, I'd never hurt a child" and not expect at least a beating, then something has gone seriously wrong.

Well I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. I just wonder what you'll think if one day one of your children grows up and tells you they think theyre attracted to children. They hate themselves, they are in tears, they beg you for help, they wish they could change but they can't . They don't know what to do. Im sure paedophiles hate themselves enough already poa.
