Fallout 4 I actually sped-run through the last part so I could sell it and recoup money I have been very vocal about this Fallout 3 instance in the lead up to Fallout 4 on the PS4 party chat

nocal wrote: » Not putting a downer on this - just a post to point out a harsh reality. As you will have noticed by now, you are getting f-all xp for your TVHM activities. It is possible to rank up to level 54 doing what you are doing and then have a ton of lovely oranges - but these are all at level 50. They tend to lose their effectiveness at level 55 or 56. It might be worth struggling through an odd mission of UVHM as you go so that at least you get some use out of the lovely oranges that you are farming. As said yesterday, I believe you are getting close to a game-changing number of skill points for the psycho so that will help a bit when you level up a bit. There will be times in UVHM where you will possibly have to go off to look for a particular weapon shield etc. to help you on your way.
jonnycivic wrote: » Yeah, my aim is to just farm a few more weapons this evening and then pop in and see how I get on with UVHM. Once I can get to Sanctuary in UVHM I should be grand TBH.
nocal wrote: » I respect the fact that you have taken to farming - a true aspect of the game. I will be on tonight from 1830 until 2000 - just getting my assassin up to Generics level - is there anything in particular you are looking for at level 50? I may be able to make a donation....
jonnycivic wrote: » TBH Im not too sure what exactly I want. Just so happened that I copped when I went back to TVHM I spawned into a very handy spot for Orange drops. Is there any weapons you'd recommend dude?
nocal wrote: » You have the corrosive conference call I believe...A conference call is always a great help starting UVHM and probably the second best weapon in the game. So unless you want the best (Unkempt Harold) you should be good to go. Of course with Krieg it depends on how you have him spec'd.

jonnycivic wrote: » I decided to give UVHM a go again last night....... Respecced the psycho (His power is insane now when I pop the super) and have gotten myself back to sanctuary and progressing quiet well. I think im lvl 54 now so I'm catching up on the rest of you now :P
nocal wrote: » Told you so :P I find with Krieg that it is all about the timing of popping it. You need to pop it so that you can get a kill shortly after popping it and shortly before it expires. If you manage that then he can keep his health up. I guess you also now have Salt of the Wound (?) so once you can run with a decent shotgun you can do quite well in the DPS stakes also.
Cormac... wrote: » We'll be playing UVHM tonight and Sunday (usually). Would not be surprised to be 58 by the end of tonight (I'm already 57.3) in case you want to jump in on Sunday Chunky Dave was playing with us but think he has gone over to Overwatch for a bit. So if you are playing over the next few days, or some OP player wants to boost you (takes much longer now that you are 54) you can sync up Only thing then would be that you shouldn't play that character Solo from then on (due to the way UVHM scales enemies to be be up to +2 levels higher than the Highest level player). We'd have to all be "on level" with each other. And I'm talking down to us posting our specific levels to the degree of 57.275 (example) so when we load in we're on the exact same amount of XP (sometimes this means killing mobs before the session) FWIW: Us 3 (me, Cal, Conovar) normally do our UVHM 1 evening (either Wed or Thur) 8:30-11:00ish in the week and usually a Sunday 8:00-11:30ish (those are just ball parks, we try organise it in party chat better) It would be nice to have a 4th along for then ride to lvl72
Cormac... wrote: » Wonder can you do Tier 3 of the Bar Room Brawl Solo in UVHM if we give you the Checkpoint in there later. That would be a fairly forgiving way of ranking yourself up AND getting Torque Tokens. *strokes chin*
nocal wrote: » Nope - there are no "checkpoints" in that sense in BL2. When you go back to your own game you go back to the point that you were at.
Cormac... wrote: » So he wouldn't have Tier 3 available as he wouldn't have done the Torque story missions leading up to that point? That's what I was kind of thinking. Annoys me you can't fast travel there
