What happens to each of those features listed say if you pay for the first month and then stop your subscription?

Well, it hasn't happened yet, afaik, but you lose all of these priviledges. It's not strict though, there's no formal billing system in place afaik, so they'll just ask, and if you say you'll have it in 2 weeks, they take you at your word.

Paying for a year is handier, as it's not too dear, and you only have to sort it out once a year.

    :)

Is there any online ways of paying by credit card yet,or is it only by credit transfer with your Nick as an ID?

Credit card is not an option yet unfortunately, unless it is via paypal.

How do you subscribe to boards.ie by bank transfer? I'd like to just stick the a/c number into online banking and get a years subscription if thats possible (or unless you have another way)...

    [EDIT] Except I forgot to mention - I don't do paypal [/EDIT]

Bizarre - apparantly I can't transfer to company accounts using 24 hour banking. What a pain in the ass. Is it possible to put a cheque in the post?

Oops - I think I just posted you an envelope without a cheque in it - put it in the wrong envelope. Cheque to follow.

Only just noticed the "paid subscriptions" link on the User CP. I am very wealthy and wish to donate money to Boards.ie but I am unsure about this paypal thingy - Is it safe, pleasant, etc?

Will I finally get some respect around here after all these years if I subscribe?

Being a legal type, I'm sure you'll find their lengthy and numerous legal disclaimers quite pleasant.

So credit card is the only method of payment now? Unless I'm completly missing another option on the subscription page?
