His last entry was 10 years old.

Comedian Freddie Starr last night denied claims that he groped a girl of 14 in Jimmy Savile’s dressing room.

Freddie, 69, said the allegation that he joined Savile and Gary Glitter at the gathering was an “utter lie”.

He learnt of the accusations on Wednesday when ITV asked for his views on claims he “groped and propositioned” the girl in the 70s.

Freddie said: “I was sick to the stomach when I heard that. It is disgusting and it never happened.”

A High Court injunction he obtained over allegations was overturned yesterday.

Freddie insisted at his luxury home near Studley, Warks: “If what is being said about Jimmy is true he’s a scumbag. I hate paedophiles. I’d kill them.

“I didn’t know Savile but I couldn’t stand his face. I wanted to punch it.”

It is claimed Glitter, 68, had sex with a girl in the BBC room when Freddie allegedly groped a teenager. Savile is said to have been fondling a girl.

Freddie says he will take legal action against his accuser.

there is a lot more yet to see the light of day,jimmy used to visit a pub in london called the freemasons,that was owned by that gay beatles manager and convicted kiddy fiddler brien epstein, and all the known perverts would go there,including leading politicians it was said young children would be brought in given drugs and raped,i am also waiting for the media to mention jimmies sick obsession in paying to get access to morgues in the middle of the night.

like underage sex ,accosting people in public toilets ,is indecent, immoral,it is also a criminal offence,under the sexual offences act 1985,a lot of the people connected to jimmy saville have been implicated arrested or in breach of this act,or have you a different take on it ?

I've not read the whole thread, but it is interesting to say the least. Were several top politicians not implicated in the original allegations? There has been no mention of this since afaik. I sniffs a cover-up.

My Dads dad did - he refused to fly the swastika, so they took my Dad away to be shot, sh1t happened and he wasn't, but the swastika flew. But my money is that this goes a lot higher than a turd like Saville. There must be some heavyweight operators implicated for it to have taken so long to start coming out.

So do I, and so do most of us. And no doubt so did many people in the BBC. Who's to say there weren't people trying to blow the whistle? But powerful forces obviously stood in their way, and unless we were there, how can we know what we would have been capable of doing? I suppose I'm referring more to the little people rather than those who had the power to do something.

Re the John Peel stuff: wow, some admissions there. He wasn't best known for that Saturday morning show btw - disingenuous comment by the Mail trying to implicate him in a systematic culture of grooming and manipulating minors into engaging in sex acts. What he admitted to doing in America is messed up (a matter for the police) but they were consenting. Not that he should have accepted, but it is not the same thing as the latter.

I read a book about the punk scene in America in the 1970s. Most of the musicians regularly had sex with underage girls. There was a club in LA where no alcohol was served, filled with teenage runaways looking for rock stars to have sex with.

The John Peel revelations are more shocking for someone like me. I can easily dismiss Saville as a grotesque perv, but when it's someone you hitherto admired it challenges your preconceptions and prejudices.

You're right, its sadly true. Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin slept with underage groupies on a regular basis.
