AWR will be in Derry, Ireland on Thursday 6th October 2011. Former WWE Superstar Scotty 2 Hotty will be on hand, as well as the master of the “Gore”, former WWE, TNA and ECW Star Rhino. Also, this show will feature a Steel Cage Match with a very special Enforcer, the one and only, WWE Hall of Famer, BRET “HITMAN” HART!!!

Will Derry be the only Irish date? Would love to get Rhino to sign my ECW belt!

Why does a cage match need an enforcer :S

Seriously doubt it and definitely hope not.

Bret being special enforcer is interesting as he been known to mix it up on WWE house shows these days in that role.

    Particularly in hindsight.

I think RVD had a better match in Tallaght than he has had in TNA.

Is Bret not still under contract with WWE?

I'd say he only has to do a handful of shows per year for them and is allowed to do whatever else he wants besides TNA obviously.

He probably gets more gigs from AWR

Not sure, but AWR like doing tours of Ireland and France, so I guess just keep checking their website regularly.

Interesting to note that Chris Masters was on the roster between his two WWE stints, so AWR could try to sign him up again.

I'm really wondering too if Derry is the only Irish date? They have said that they were announcing "Irish dates". So I can only assume there are a few more to be announced. The tour seems to be happening in October so I think it's a bit late for promotion and sales if they were to do so. I think it would be a joke if Derry is the only date as technically it's in the UK! , and also it's extremely far away from just about every Irish fan! Can anyone tell me have the AWR tour group announced other Irish dates in previous years this late to the approx tour time?

    From AWR FB
The Sharpshooter tour comes to the Royal Theatre Co Mayo on Oct 7th and the University of Limerick on Oct 8th. These are the final dates of the tour. Bret "Hitman" Hart has agreed to be a special guest enforcer to our steel cage main event. Bret told AWR officials that if anyone wants to interfere in the main event they will have to get past him first !

Shawn Michaels' IPW tour of England is cancelled. Maybe they might get Shawn over here for this tour. It was meant to be the same weekend too.

looking forward to this the tf in castlebar is a great venue, they spent lots of money on that place, if they can get a nice crowd in should be cracking atmosphere that night

I must say, the place's of choice are very strange. No Dublin date? Now, that is strange.

they played castlebar on their two previous tours so its not exactly that strange, castlebar also has one of the best indoor venues in the country atm

Maybe Dublin venues are more expensive to rent.

i would nt say its strange really since in other parts of ireland they dont have to compete with wwe the next month in the o2. to be honest ireland isnt really big so it wont take too long to tavel. me and 2 friends are gonna make a fun roadtrip to one of these shows. didnt go last time bret hart was over wit them so it will be well worth the trip to meet him.
