Hi all, I've managed to get my PC set up to watch TV using the TV card and Windows Media Centre for Windows 7.

Some of the channels when I scan the cable option are missing, and its inviting me to add the frequency of the missing ones, in the form XXX.XXX mhz

Where can I find that information? I'm with UPC in Waterford.
    Thanks!

Maybe a bit out of date, but you will find most of them here

    Thanks for that..

No joy.. I put 56 Mhz in for RTE 1 and its showing up as a blank.

I found another site that said RTE 1 was 504Mhz but Media Centre won't accept that.

probably a bit more up to date
    Channel Frequency
    RTE2 175.25 MHz
    BBC1 184 MHz
    TG4 192 MHz
    UTV 200 MHz
    Sky One 208 MHz
    Channel 4 216 MHz
    TV3 224 MHz
    Nickelodeon/Paramount 232 MHz
    Sky News 256 MHz
    E4 264 MHz
    MTV 248 MHz
    The Discovery Channel 280 MHz
    Channel 6 272 MHz
    Cabletext 472 MHz
    Living TV 480 MHz
    Setanta Sports 496 MHZ
    RTE1 504 MHZ
    BBC 2 512 MHz
    Euromix 520 MHz

A couple missing from that list still though

For some reason Media Centre wont accept 504MHz though. Its giving me a message saying it cant accept that information and to recheck it. Is there an upper frequency limit on Media Centre I wonder?

Very odd seen as if I scan it using the antenna function (thereby losing access to the full guide,) it finds RTE1 itself.

    I hate computers.

Hi Trotter - Did you get anywhere with this one?

    Hauppauge MCE 500 dual tuner
    Windows 7

I am in the same boat as you.
    1. Manually Scan - Dublin unmapped analogue
I get all the channels I want but I have to manually add listing to the channels this is fine, but then there are no listings for 3e and living.

    2. NTL Dublin analogue
I get all channels and listing except for Channel 4 and Discovery.
When I go to add in either of the channels I just get an exception error.

    Channel 4 543 MHz
    The Discovery Channel 575 MHz

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
