Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

They said on commentary he has close to a 18" forearm at a bodyweight of 67kg! and is the biggest forearm in the sport pound for pound. This is not photoshop! his other arm is puny looking

    Reminds me of that cartoon.

Suppose it is just like gymnasts not training their legs to get a strength to weight ratio for the upper body. In his case he can enter lower weight divisions.

I think he could be developing a bit of a muscle imbalance.

Oh.. all the jokes i could make....

Wow, that is impressive though. Hmm, if for some insane reason there was a tie in an arm wrestling match how would they solve it? Because if they had to use their other arm he'd be absolutly screwed!!

    Popeye?

The commentators said his nickname was hellboy

I think it is interesting that he could get so big. You will hear folks saying you really have to be doing squats & deadlifts and have overall growth to get really big. I always wondered if it was sort of like trying to spot reduce fat, that you might not be able to "spot increase" muscle like that. I figured his body might react and maybe make his other arm a bit bigger too anticipating that it will be under stress too at some stage. Maybe it is genetics but he doesn't strike me as a "natural", most of the other lads in the contest looked like big hard men with a natural big build that you would think could pack on muscle easy.

67kg is nowhere near big. spot increase muscle, dont you mean isolation? ever seen someone with a cast on a broken leg or arm when they have it removed after a few months?
its not a genetic miracle, its basic biomechanics
