Bit of a joke here, we only got one snow shower at 10am(which was sleet at the end) and since then we've gotten a couple of sleet, rain and (one)heavy hail showers. 0.9c now, i think we're being punished for our 6/7 inches back in early january:mad:

The same, There are no prospects for tonight except for the NW but even here the showers will be turning back to rain and dying out anyway.

It snowed here a little last night. Didn't really stick too much, was practically gone by this morning. Is there anymore forecast for tonight?

Widespread heavy and thundery showers of sleet and snow this evening and for a time overnight, with the showers becoming mostly confined to the north, northwest and parts of the east later.

Interesting......though id say it will be the Southeast at risk more then the East.

Is that the window of opportunity or a continuous fall from 10pm to 4am?! I assume the former :D

Nice to see it falling but no lying snow here. Just stopping and was enough to have a slush fight from what was on the cars but even thats gone now.

where are these 'night time showers' going to come from? The Irish sea is clear except for that band that hit us a half hour ago:confused::confused:

    Bit of a contradiction there:p

With imagination there is a little sleet.

Just before dark, I could see that hills had turned white.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,498 ✭✭✭Mothman

Definite sleet, no imagination needed :p
