what can i say its all about the detail ,its the first AEG one ive seen ,only looked at the pictures properly a few mins ago,have to go looking for one now

Really? Well I did not know that. Ladies and gentleducks I have a new favourite assault rifle (after the G36). Thought the the mag looked a little odd. Gotta get me one of those. Still wanna get an M4 to look like that pretty much like that, save for the scope, that can be scrapped straight off.

WGC has the reciever for $144. Pricey for what it is. It's supposed to be for a TM kit but I want something all metal. More importantly, I want those mags for it.

the G36 is a great piece of kit was going to get a JG C VERSION but i want,have to have,dont care about the price, VFC SCAR damn sexual piece of kit and its so fecking light too ,

ca is gen 2 and changing the battery is awkard,the vfc come with its own hard case and 2nd cqb lenght barrel havent heard to much about the g&g,
but with shipping and customs you will more than likely will spend more than the cost of the vfc from shiva,missed a great day today

i though the vfc had some wacky gearbox....? if not i might go for that then. i like the idea of the barrels, never bothered too much by cases, always like me aegs a little battle worn. LOL

yep i was all set to go but i have the mother of all coughs (makes me sound like i am old, oh hold on...) and a sweaty flu at the moment and running around in the wet didnt appear to be the best idea...LOL, kinda sorry now tho

the vfc gear box seems ok from what i seen of it,you can dropin a gear box from the vfc m249 if you wanted some more firepower

jeeze i always thought the vfc one was was more expensive the the ca one, but it the same 9give or take 5 or 10 dollars), thats for that gatling, might do a read up tomorrow on the vfc instead.

now there is a smart idea on the team buy...again never thought of that, i am sure lemming would be pleased with that bb muncher he has LOL...

it really is great news on the numbers playing tho...i wonder will paul open up a bit more of hrta2, i imagine with 65 running around if was a cqbish at times?

it got a bit hairy at one stage with close quaters shooting ,but we had 4 marshalls so that got stamped out fairly quick ,a lot of bang kills today ,
looks like some was reading the thread from your tour idea ,we had 2 commanders on each team calling the shots and it worked quite good,
yeah the ghost and contractors chip in to buy team ammo ,wouldnt do us any harm is sorting a whip around between us to keep a good stock of bbs just get a hold all or ammo box to store them in ,nonex is selling bbs in a bottle with a niozzle for easy filling,better that the bags but there 18 e a bottle of 5500 ,its not to bad when you take in how many of us there are

might not have to organise anything at all if this keeps up! i mean if 65 are going and the christmas present rush hasnt even started yet....well then, it might be hitting the 80ish by february.

would still be great fun to do a mass trip to galway or drogheda, variety the spice of life and all that....

the commander thing and squads is a right good laugh IF you have the numbers...i think thats where the teams will be excellent.

i am bored buying a bag here and a bag there of ammo, coupled with i have an a&k m249 now also...so i guess i will be whacking thru it at a fierce rate of knots soon enough.

how many did ye talk too...sounds like more then 1 or 2?

lost me on that one ,bb wise it would work out cheaper buying together with your 249 and lemming's beast ,we have support weapons covered ,i generaly get through 1500 bb a day,im getting the scar after christmas but i need a pistol hate reloading without a side arm to cover my own ass, we just need a sniper and a couple more grunts,
there is a good bit of inthrest in the trip to the galway

vtec, we are all old, so grunting is par for the course LOL...

well i certainly dont want to be humping an m249 around all the time, weighs a friggen ton, and i have a few more things i need to do, like get an extra mag box, go a job on the gearbox, greasing, as apparently a&k were a bit atingy on the grease..

i just read some stuff on the vfc...apparently its a stunner and is cheaper then the ca as it includes the short barrel which ca doesnt, the tight fisted bastards they are. i also read the vfc has some peculiar hopup thing going on. maybe fiach or skate is the people to ask as i know they seem to know vfc very well. unless you know yourself?? it seems to be some triple hopup, whatever in the hell that is??

isee that the ca is also gen 2 of the scar and the vfc is gen 3 (of the originals)..both seem to do well in the accuracy dept...and incidently rof. i did read a few moans about the battery as you said, seems you need to remove a screw to change it...whoever thought of that needs his nuts xrayed to stop him reproducing...

anyways gentlemen as always a pleasure....im off for some sleep as i have just downed 4 or 5 gulps of very sleep inducing cough mixture (who need illegal drugs eh?) and our little fella will want to play car crash in exactly 3 hours so i better scoot off before i fall asleep on the friggen stairs...adios...

me bad ,i meant we put on a good show plenty of kills ,but i was talking to 3 lads that might be intrested in signing up tp the CORP,including daddy ghost,
the hop on the VFC is the new style one if im right, it can be can be adjusted in up ,down,left or right but im not sure ,i mainly just know the scar from vfc ,but check ith the 2 lads to be 100%, also vfc are bringing a new stock out that can hold a large 9.6 battery,the case is a proper hard abs case extra bonus,the 249 is a nice piece of kit it would be handy for holding the lane or just as a defensive tool,

im thinking a shotgun for attacking the porta cabins

Suffice to say Im sick of this sh1te "journalism" being rolled out about airsoft.

I dearly wish people would stop developing guns that use the M16 mags. It's a horrible design and I'd prefer if they came up with their own.

Be original for once. You're not gonna get the US army arms contract just because you include that feature.

Its to do with the STANAG agreement between nato countries.

Allot of the 5.56mm assault rifles use the same mag so they are interchangeable, the stanag mag.

The aug for some reason is different though, but has a stock that accepts stanags, g36 can be modded to take one. Famas, m4, hk416, new scar, l85 take the same mag, theres more but I cant be bummed researching it now at 825am:eek:. Edit: feck it heres the list

Its just a standardisation thing, just happens that the standardised part then is less likely to evolve and improve.

Yes the cx4 and rx4 look like toss.

This is something I did not know. I thought the STANAG agreement was to do with development rather than standardisation. Interesting.

It's not just car companies. Take a look at Samsung. Think they only make tv's? Everything from ic's to LPG transoceanic tankers to computers to aircraft components.

I've been thinking in work, how useful to you would a quick reference charge checker be? Think about it, you charge your batteries and you skirmish away. You stop for a break and you start to think "should I stick my batteries on fast charge or are they ok?". I'm thinking of building something small you can just quickly plug in and get a fast visual refernce of remaining battery

Think I'll put a prototype together for 8.4v batteries for the craic during my break tomorrow.

I'm always building these random parts that are perfectly useful but I end up just leaving them in a box when I get them working because the challenge is over! My mates always go rooting through it for things they might want when they come over. Maybe I should produce them and make some moolah out of them
