For the record it's not a trilogy. Theres Baldurs Gate 1 and 2, and each has an expansion pack.

For the record it's not a trilogy. Theres Baldurs Gate 1 and 2, and each has an expansion pack.

As I mentioned earlier this question is on 3 boards and so far 3 people including myself have given Halo first place it has a total of 37 votes. Yes its 40 votes behind HL but that still gives it second place. What would be the point of me doing this if I was going to Just make up my own list. :mad:

surely if someone votes for 10 games, each of those games would get a point or whatever. Why do they have to be in order? are you seeing who got the most first places or something?

Not a bad idea B-K-DzR. But I want people to get off the fence and make a solid decision as to which game they feel is the best ever. Putting them in order is the hardest part and that’s the bit that causes all the friction. Otherwise we could just end up with a very long list of all the games the Irish gaming community have played.

Goldeneye 007(N64)=mad singleplayer game with good multiplayer, shame about the sequel.

C&C series= I remeber the days when the only C&C I knew was a drinks company:p
Operation Flashpoint=Brillant game
Dues Ex=W00t
Black and White=spanking the monkey is fun
Half-life=I feel somehow pressured putting it here
Operation Stealth(amiga)=worlds crazyiest adventure game. absolutely brilliant.
Beneath a steel sky(amiga)=another crazy adventure game.

if you have then you'd know it's nearly impossible to put your favourites in any kind of order.
it's a daddy or chips situation...
only with 10 choices.
the list i gave wasn't my penultimate top 10, just the first 10 games i love that came to my head. it'd take months of brainwracking to figure out my true top 10, let alone put them in order

Hi Guys
Well this is it. The final List. Not quite 100 but then again I only included the games that were ranked.

Looking a little closer at the top 10 I noticed a couple of interesting points:
•The top 10 include 4 Console Only titles,3 FPS and 4 RTS games.
•Battlefield 1942 (the most popular lan game at the moment) only came in 1 above Speedball 2
•Oh and the battle for first place wasn’t even close. With the winner scoring twice as many votes as the second place game.

So all that’s left to be said is thanks to everybody who posted.
