Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

29-28 Brown on my card anyway.

    29-28 Brown.

That's Dwyer's last fight in the UFC.

Understandably shaky performance from Brown I suppose, but he'll need to improve massively next time out. His 2nd fight will be very interesting.

I think that's a bit unfair. First fight in the UFC, biggest exposure (online at least anyway) and a lot of hype coming into this fight.

Did what he had to do and weathered an early storm.

He may not be as hyped as Sage but I think it's unfair to write him off after one fight.

Dwyer available at 23/20 before the fight started. I think the UFC just pick one sportsbook/casino and use their prices.

Yeah think you're right. I don't get the + & - odds they work with. I can't even get my head around decimal odds though either :D just stick with fractions.

Decent fight I thought, laptop was lagging a bit watching it though :( 1st round was close but think Brown won 2nd & 3rd. Fair decision. Must be some nerves from Brown but thought he looked decent enough for his 1st UFC fight

Bar the judo throw I seen nothing in his game really to point to him being anyway special time will tell but Im not expecting much from him.

Don't blame him. Fights have been a bit 'meh' thus far.

Bruce Leroy saves his ufc career with that one.

I don't understand "Vegas odds" but it showed Brown as underdog +100 there. PP Had Brown at 4/5 & Dwyer evens

Its a pretty weird system alright. Basically if it's a + number that's how much you would win if you bet 100 and if it's a - number then that's how much you need to bet to win 100. How they come up with it I have no idea I can only assume it was intended to confuse!

I didn't realise how much of a dip he was on until I checked out his record. Funny thing is though, I always enjoy watching him fight.

Yeah he's an interesting guy and puts on decent fights, backed against him tonight tuaght he would have got subbed but not much grappling.

I put Bader in Rds 4,5 or by decision for 5/1 along with "Lookin for a fight"s Randy Brown in my bet. I meant to put Dustin Ortiz but got confused by including other sports(football, boxing & darts lol) in a 160/1 acc.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEEASSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE knock him out Rumble!!! Only 1 of my other picks lost and it was ridiculously unlucky(even more than my Cruz by unanimous decision against TJ bet) I'll be.....you could say devastated.....if the Bader bet were to win  Would have had near £500 back on £3 bet. Please batter the bake off him AJ

Ooooof, close round. Reis 10-9... But only just.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Dustin badly needs a finish. His takedown attempts are absolutely woeful up to this point.

Yeh he's been a bit disappointing so far. Needs to pull something out now here.

Stupid game plan trying to take a high level bjj guy like reis down.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Well that was an absolute clinic in grappling from Reis.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 7,269 ✭✭✭Gamebred

Didnt Reis fight Owen Roddy years ago or have I got him mixed up?

I enjoyed that performance from Reis.

Not impressed that it killed two accumulators stone dead before they even got a chance to get going...

    Bastard. :pac:

This fight could be absolutely amazing if it goes to the ground.

Rickson Gracie vs Renzo Gracie jiu-jitsu.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    Worst jiu-jitsu chess match ever!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Great performance from Natal. Casey was just awful. For someone who is trained by one of the Gracie brothers, his defence off his back was complete crap.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 7,269 ✭✭✭Gamebred

Hes a Black Belt under Rickson Gracie so hes legit, just his game isnt made for mma imo,Natal on a 4 win streak somehow fair play to him,he due a loss.

Wouldn't be surprised if Jake Ellenberger never fights for the UFC again.

This is a piss poor card thus far.

I hope Sage and Rothwell pick up wins tonight.

and the result is............NO CONTEST!

Both fighters have been disqualified!! It is believed neither fighter complied with the recent USADA rules regarding not using IVs to re-hydrate after traces of plastic was found in their post fight samples!:eek:

Jaysus I wish I was on the booze or something else tonight, I can hardly contain my excitement these fights are so good

Yeeeeeeeeeeehaw, great first round ......gooooooooooooo SuperSage :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Sage is young and has a lot to learn but his will to attack when an opening presents itself is an incredible trait as a young fighter.

Win, lose or draw in this fight, his potential is pretty frightening.
