I think on all new cars you can reset the odometer once before 200miles or something... I know I had a SEAT Ibiza once where when the garage delivered it to the house they did a one off reset from 50 odd miles to zero.

That's truly outrageous. A 330 grand car being sold under false pretences. Either that or the guy bought it the day before.. :rolleyes:

I was annoyed when my car was sold to me with 35 miles on the clock, having seen it first with 8 miles on delivery day (I ordered it).

Bullsh*t, thats still clocking and that is still illegal. Why would it be acceptable to clock a car that has done a few miles?

It is true.. The guy reset the main odometer from 50 odd miles to zero. He told me it was one off thing they could do before 200 miles or something.

The car was 1998 SEAT Ibiza GTI... I was sat next to him when he did it. This was so my car would zero miles on Aug 1st (s-reg), not the 50 odd delivery miles.

doubtful as it has been shown as attending on the cannonball website for 4-5 weeks now.

Also they tried to block the reg in official photos!
