Well deserved try for Argentina there. They deserve to be alot more than 1 point clear of Ireland. They really do play some fantastic rugby.

not good, argies in again. they need to run the ball at them from deep. I think they will be told that at half time. Need big second half

It's not looking good. The way it's looking now Arg will get the bonus point for 4 tries.

surely this first half should end the debate once and for all about Murphy playing at full-back. how anyone thinks he should be playing at full-back is bemusing.

please please please take O'Gara off.

not sure what we can take from that first half, still a heck of alot to do, they have been getting better, but it could be a couple of games to late

What's hapening with Ireland's 'garryowens'. They are giving the Argies far too much time to receive and are not pressuring them with the high kicks.
The Argies on the other hand are winning their high kicks and pressuring Ireland, and scoring tries off the garryowens???

    Ireland are terrible.

Just when we thought we had a chance at 10-8 we start kicking again with the useless ROG

Surely he has to be taken off, he is ****e.

    Argentina are good.

We need to score 3 tries and beat them by 8, we are 16 away from the 8pt differential.

Not to mention the Argies only need 2 more tries to seal top spot.

    Game over folks.:(

Great game plan. Get the ball and kick it back to them.

He's had a bad tournament. I'm just sick of going on this forum and listening to people stick the boot into a team whose given so much to Irish sport. Criticism is fair enough but some of the stuff I've read on here has been low.

At least wait for another 40 minutes before half the people on this forum can start their mass crucifiction of the whole team.

For Gods sake Eddie -do something. We have 40 miniutes left in the WC.

If the coach doesnt act - the senior players will need to rebel and try something radical.

And that's the end of that chapter.

The game is never over at half time....we have been playing like a team that has the passion to score 3 more tries (we might also let in 3 tries).

Maybe Eddie will make some impact substitutions around the 60 minute mark as opposed to his usual 77th minute replacements !

Is ROG drunk or something? That kick for touch was so short and low it didnt even reach the man on the line

Just seen the slow motion repetition of Ireland's try.

What O'Driscoll shouts at the Argies on his way back shames me. He was the only light out there. Now I wish he gets punished for un-sporting behaviour.

    Disgraceful, like the entire campaign.

    Com On Wallace!!!!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,001 ✭✭✭acri

I don't know, we seem to be very much a team that doesn't give up until the very end. I see us scoring more, but the same can be said for Argentina. Chances are we'll make more mistakes and Argentina will capitolise on them.

Ooh, look, we scored a try. Huzzah.

murphy try - is the miracle on - there is time anyway
