A lot of people were happy to see the introduction of this feature, and personally I think its handy, you can click a little picture instead of postwhoring. Anyways I noticed you can see a list of your thanked posts and I think its nice to be able to see who thanked you, who agreed with your point of view, etc, something…

The only forum i will actively go back to see how many times a post may have been thanked is on the "Random Photo Thread" we have on Photography. We just use the thanks system there to quickly let other photographers know that you particularly liked a certain shot.

Yeah, I think it is a pretty cool feature to have, though sometimes I notice my thanked posts have gone up and check on the latest ones only to see that nobody new has thanked any of those posts, which means that someone has thanked an old thanked post of mine and I have to trawl through them all, vainly trying to remember who had thanked them in the first place in an effort to determine who has recently thanked me.

I use it to check out the number of thanked posts other people have.

Gives you an idea of whether a poster that's bugging you is only taking the piss or if he's usually a twat.
