Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The Nightmare is a 1781 oil painting by Anglo- Swiss artist Henry Fuseli (1741–1825).

Nothing to do with the puzzle... loads of info... surprised no one has put the links together.

Up the pixelation on the image...a little definition would be good.

well, a hint about, poss year, nationality, painted where..

    There's several lines of thought.

    Only pictorial clues...

    Part image and part info

    Just info.

A balance of image and info would enable more peeps to have a guess.

Given the crowed mass, a complete guess woulf be something like Hieronymus Bosch’s “Garden of Earthly Delights”

    There, someone does care.

Clues so far are its Renaissance painting with a subject matter and theme similar to Joel Peter Witkin ( the cover image) and famous for its use of foreshortening.
