Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Tuesday 22-April-14
    083 & 077 on the Taras.

One of the tara's was out of it's usual paths today. Caught the end of an empty working at Howth Junction at 16:20, only saw the last few wagons and could not see if it was 077 or 083.

  • Registered Users Posts: 420 ✭✭metrovick001

That would have been 083 then as 077 was on the empty before that passing Gormonston around 1440.

Was that from the liner it failed on some months back?

I haven't seen her since. I think at the time it was suggested she may have damaged her traction motors with the wheel slip climbing out in North Wall.

Don't think so, most likely Monday/Tuesday. The return working should depart Waterford yard at 10.10.

Came across this video by accident today 074, 078 and 082 working in Maynooth in 1995. They wouldn't let something as trivial as a burned out signal cabin put a stop to things back then!

Could be a transfer to match the ferry departures better, the last few liners have being very lightly loaded recently.

    083 is in Mallow.

That would be 075. It is back in Carlow now after a nights work ballasting in Kilkenny. I'll have a video of it on my youtube channel tomorrow (redppsh96). I can't link videos to this site anymore.
